Splinter Cell: Shadow Strike For 2003


The latest Ubi Soft release schedule, as posted on gamesindustry.biz, has a currently unannounced Splinter Cell game by the name of Splinter Cell: Shadow Strike listed for release on PC and all current generation consoles this year. Since the game hasn't been officially announced yet, gameplay details are non-existent at this time, but you can bet we'll be bringing you more information on the game as soon as it becomes available.

Star Wars: Republic Commando Unveiled for the Xbox

During Microsoft’s pre-E3 press conference, a brief video was shown of a new Star Wars game in development for the Xbox. The game will be called Star Wars: Republic Commando. The video showed a group of clone troopers entering a temple, only to be taken out by a swarm of flying bugs.

Star Wars: Republic Commando is scheduled for release in 2004. We’ll post more details as soon as they become available.

Konami Confirms Dance Dance Revolution Xbox

Konami has formally announced plans to bring its popular Dance Dance Revolution series to the Xbox in the form of Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix. Details are sketchy at this time, but the game will have Xbox Live support. It's also assumed that a hardware manufacturer will be developing dance-mat controllers that are compatible with the Xbox. DDR Xbox is currently scheduled to ship later this year. A new Dance Dance Revolution will also be available for the PlayStation 2 this year, based on the recently released Japanese PS2 game DDRMAX2.

I still havent gotten around to playing the origional Splinter Cell...so I dont really know what to think there...Star Wars games have sucked ass lately,(unless its made by Factor 5). And DDR is...meh...a party game...
