It seems like the June PPV (formally King of the Ring) will be renamed Bad Blood and worse off be Raw only, if you take a look at the official poster, it says "Raw Presents" instead of "Raw and SmackDown presents"

Isn't there a PPV already named Bad Blood?

Anyways that would suck because KOTR was one of the best PPV

This is like when WCW changed WW3 to Mayhem : Night of Champions.

Are they totally eliminating KotR? Or just making it another month?

Ranzid~ There was an In Your House PPV called Badd Blood before (Taker/Michaels in HIAC 1), but it wasn't every year.

Joeiss~ KOTR is completely gone now. Oh yeah, and Bret/Benoit Mayhem '99= AWESOME.

And I think worse than the fact KOTR will be gone is the fact that Goldberg and Triple H will headline the show. This is gonna be one terrible PPV.

I wish they kept KOTR though, it was one of the very few PPV's that was kept unique from the others. Royal Rumble is, Survivor Series used to be but is now the same as every other PPV, Wrestlemania is debatable as it's just more hyped and whatnot, and every other PPV is just a regular PPV. Good KOTR memories include Bret and Owen winning, Austin's 3:16 promo, and Kurt Angle becoming Olympic Gold Medalist, Eurocontinental, Heavyweight, King of the Ring Champion.

just because HHH and Goldberg are in the pic it doesn't mean they will be fighting does it?

Hopfully they aren't going to be fighting, with thier little backstage beef and all.

Thanks Chris. But about that picture... isn't there any chances that it's fake? I doubt that is for real

I doubt that it's fake. I remember as a youngster, I used to get the wwf mags and they would have ppv posters months in advance with logos and everything(late 1990s).
You could tell who was getting pushed by looking at the faces and some of the articles.

They do it all the time. I knew about this since before Wrestlemania.

Yeah, posters for PPV's have always been released long before the PPV. It's not a fake.

And it doesn't mean they're fighting for sure, but it's been known that they were likely gonna have a match at the first Raw only PPV ever since Goldberg came to WWE. That plus the fact that both of their faces are shown on the poster is pretty much a confirmation of what they have planned. Although everything could change, for now count on that as being the main event of Bad Blood.

I was their. :p 8 rows from the ring. :p ... That was a sweet night... I got to see Bret Hart and Chris Benoit wrestle like 2 times each or something (because it was a tournament). And I remember whoever fought Psycho Sid kicked the shyte out of him... Because he was down for a good 10 minutes after the match ended.

And I think that it is bullshyte that WWE is totally kicking out the King of the Ring as one of their PPVs... I mean, that is like the one PPV that I watch almost yearly. And wasn't that the one a long time ago where the wrestlers rode the mini rings to the actual ring? Because that was phenominal... correct me if i'm wrong, though.

I don't think wrestling is fake. I somewhat believe those little conflicts are fake, but the fighting is real.

...That was kinda out of nowhere, considering this topic is about a PPV poster, but anyways, the matches aren't "real" as in they know exactly who will win and how that person will win, and they talk to eachother during the matches to know what spots to do next. They of course can't fake being thrown down hard against the ground or anything, so the pain is very real. And the storylines are fake for the most part other than a few exceptions. If you read about conflicts like wrestlers getting in fights backstage and stuff, that happens a lot and is real.
