Were do you live, what is it like there and what are you going to do over the summer? I live in Iowa and it is very boring here, not much to do so me and my friends make up stuff like milk drinking contest. This summer Me and my friends are going to Worlds of Fun and Then to Georgia to pick my friend up from Boot Camp.

It's sunny most of the time, then the other times it rains. I love it when it's cold here, since we hardly get any of that here. During the summer... eh, i donno. I wanna be with my friends a lot.

Arlington, Virginia... Which is right across the river from DC... It's like... hot here... but sometimes it's cold... and sometimes it rains, but sometimes it doesn't... And like there are trees... and a river and buildings...
As for the summer, I'll sit around complaining about it being too hot and humid and go out 'chill' with my 'home boys'... We never go on vacation because we're poor...

I live in Callifornia in a wealthy little city near San Francisco.
Over the summer I'm going to Australia for two weeks. Then I'm probably going to summer school to patch up bad grades. We might go to Hawaii also? I want to sleep in and stay up late.

I'm from Bakersfield Cali... it's a boring town invaded by Mexicans and members of the KKK... uh, er, over the summer I may go to LA or Las Vegas to have some real fun, but as far as in town I think I will do a lot of working out and laying on my ass.
I live in Phoenix, Arizona. It's hot here. Very, very, very hot.
I'm going to get a job when summer comes.
My life sucks.

I am from Junction City, KS (school-Kirksville, MO). Both very boring towns. Over the summer I will be doing teaching observations, then helping out with my mom's studio's dance recital (stage crew!) Then we're going to Las Vegas to visit family (still can't gamble yet). Then I am flying to St Louis to meet up with jeepnut and we're going to a week-long concert festival in Bushnell, IL (Cornerstone (http://http://www.cornerstonefestival.com/) ) After that, I'll be teaching a musical theatre class. I am moving into my house here in k-ville at the beginning of august.

I live in Wilmington, Delaware/West Grove, Pennsylvania. Wilmington is a farily boring, but lovable little city. I just like to say that I'm from Delaware....West Grove is a small little southeastern Pennsylvania town...I can walk on my road and not see any cars for a good 10 minutes, pretty peaceful.

Why do threads like this come back every year is a much better question.
New York City sucks like hell. Prices for everything are going up and I'm thinking depression for the 'greatest city in the world'
 in like a few months. Then, I think the whole country will follow suit.
Once I get enough money, I can't wait to get out of this hellhole, one of the most, maybe the most segregated city in the whole world.

Born in Illinois, moved to California for 10 years, then to Michigan for the past three years.
The grass is green, the lake looks like the Ocean (except not), there are more trees, more bees, and meaner weather. The winters are long and cold (lake effect snow pours atop this exact location), and the summers are humid (also due to the lake).
During the Summer I plan on visiting Vancouver Island in British Columbia. If any of you know of the town, it's called Victoria (city of gardens, or something like it).

From a place where we know better than to end a sentence with a preopsition.
(Correct reply to this response "Where do you come from, bitch.")
Actually, we're kind of known for ending sentences with preposititons in Chicago.

I'm from NY, currently livin in Queens and workin in Manhattan... I can't complain. Over the summer I'll just continue working and enjoy the city, go to Mets games, see a bunch of movies with the live-in GF, and squeeze in some gaming whenever possible. Oh and I'm 31, so it's kinda different for me than you youngsters ;)

Actually, three substantial tornadoes in five years.
Yeah, I'm fine. It went just south of me. There's a lot of damage in the surrounding area, but nothing right next to me or anything. The closest thing near me that was damaged I think was my former elementary school, and that's still a little bit away.

You've got choices.. there's a gimpy airport North of Victoria, then there's the International one in Richmond on the mainland where I am. :p Unless you're driving. Then you'll take the fairy to either Tsawassen or Horseshoe bay. But, meh. Which one ya taking?
Yep.. I live in a little city east of Vancouver named Port Coquitlam. It's really... beautiful. Every day is a new day. Air's fresh and clean, everything's green, big mountains to look at... yeah.. trademark BC. :D It doesn't rain as much as they say it does. Really. It hasn't rained here for more than 2 weeks.. and it's spring.
Summer? Going to beat some games, for sure. My friend's going to New Zealand.. I don't know, I'm travelling a lot for my band this semester so I might not want to travel. But... there's a great little lake in a city named Oliver in the BC Interior my family likes to take vacations at. Either that or Hawaii. We're spur-of-the-moment.

Atascadero... It's in the central coast near San Luis Obispo (halfway between San Fransisco and LA).
It's a nice place. Has a mental hospital and everything else you'd want in a good town.
