Suddenly Sonic becomes Italian and gains weight while Mario gets a tremendous speed boost as well as becoming just plain cooler.

The next Zelda games begin to have massive epic tales about Link, trained in the Kokirizu style of martial arts, and his travels across Hyrule to avenge the death of the Deku Tree at the hands of the evil Ganondorf.
Meanwhile, Ryo Hazuki begins to use a sword instead of martial arts. Lan Di begins to use more supernatural powers and begins to hire demons and monsters to search for the sacred circles, the Dragon and Pheonix mirrors.


That's what I think would happen anyway.

BTW Ginkasa, Yuji Naka has no say on Shenmue. That's all Yu's call, and his little cohort who's name eludes me for the moment. And yeah, in the later games it gets more magical. :p

And the great thing is there are people on the IGN boards who took this story at face value. This is why I love April Fool's Day. I haven't seen people this gullible since the day I pretended to not be me.

last year it was the perfect dark fake scans.... this year... it was too obvious... i fell for the stupid fake screens last year..

I beat Shenmue 1, and I just started 2 and I still don't completly understand why he needs the mirrors.

My Shenmue sense is tingling!

Um... ok. So, here's how it works. See, like, Ryo is the Phoenix. Lan Di is the dragon. If the two mirrors are brought together a bigass monster will appear and destroy the world.
