w00t! I am a happy man! So beautiful. Spice with Spice, how nice! :D

It's not too tall, doesn't make your Cube look higher than it should be. However, that means your insert the cart damn close to the bottom. Depending on where you have your Cube, it can be a bit tricky. But then you get to shoot it out :)

The eject lever is fun. Pull it and the cart comes flying out. If your cube is on a shelf it'll fly right down to the floor. But they get good distance ;)

GBA works well as a controller, but you need to have it on while using it (obviously), so it kills battery life. Hori Digital Pad should be here tomorrow, I'll let you know what I think of that.

There is no way to use the GBA-GC features with the player, since you need the start-up disc. Speaking of the disc, it's only used to tell the system to go through the serial port. It actually doesn't spin after that. Makes me wonder if it's possible to get a spare US disc, and Japanese system for you non-importers with Purple and Platinum cubes. The case it comes in is standard Japanese case, but blue. But next to the memory card slot, there's one for a GBA game.

Best thing though, it supports progressive scan.

Yes! I cant wait to use it as a Gun to shoot my parents!

But seirously, it sounds pretty cool. Although it defies what the Gameboy is all about...Im thinking Ill end up getting the SP and passing on the GB player...In this months EGM, there is a cupon that lets you trade in your gameboy Advance and get a SP for only 59.99

So basically they are paying you 40 bucks for you Gameboy Advance alone, which I think is pretty good.

I'm going to get it. I want to play Pokémon on the big screen!

Hey Jason, where is that coupon good for? Is it only for EGM's store or something or can it be used at any GBA retailer?

Jason1 forgot to mention its a coupon for a trade-in at EB's. But give impressions on the GBA player and the Digital pad! I wanna know how well they are. And progressive scan support is  to me.

If you go to GameStop, they will take your GBA in and give you $40 off on SP. No coupon required. :D

Might want to check that post I made again...I clearly said you had to trade in your GameBoy Advance SP.

And GM, the cupon was for Electronics Botique. Not EGM. It was just in the EGM magazine.
