I dont use illegal programs... :sneaky:
It's not illegal to have kazaa. However, you may run across illegal files.. but that's not Kazaa's fault.
Yep, I have Kazaa lite. I've only used it for some things.. I downloaded a couple songs from bands I was sketchy about (SOAD comes to mind) but now I've come to love SOAD.. and I buy their CDs. And I've even bought Kylie Minogue CDs. I think Zwan's next.

Limewire both sucks and blows... you can't find anything on it...
I got Kazaa lite awhile ago when a friend recommended it when I couldn't find songs I wanted on Limewire... it's quite good...
Finding Dir En Grey songs on kazaa is a sinch, whereas there are like none on limewire...
I don't download many songs though... normally I use them to sample things and decide wether or not to buy the CD... I've downloaded a few NIN music videos though :p

Well I only suggested Limewire because there is a PC version but if you want a truly good file sharing application I'd tell you Acquisition, but alas, it's only for Mac 10.2 :p
http://download.com
lmao.

Kazaa Lite has less spyware.
Pretty simple.

Im not going to debate if kazaa is illegal, but I think the people who make kazaa lite pretty much stole it from the people who made kazaa. Though thats just what Ive heard, if true, that sounds pretty illegal.
Wow, funny, cause whenever I log in it always asks me to upgrade to Kazaa. Maybe it's a partnership, eh?

Kazaa has spyware. So does Kazaa Lite. The difference is that on their website they write that Kazaa Lite doesn't have spyware so people will continue to download it. That's what I call smart marketing. :)

If you have the real version of Kazaa Lie you'll have no spyware at all. Checked it outmyself when I installed it; zero checks to registry for anything other than Kazaa Lite, zero hits on (both software and hardware) firewall or NAT box for anything other than Kazaa Lite.
And if your version of Kazaa does have spyware, Start > Run > regedit is your friend.
i saw a bunch of stuff when i did that std what should i touch? ahh :)

I just went and checked my registry out and saw that a few programs were not uninstalled as I thought, but dealt with them now.
Yeah I know be careful with the registry.
