Note: This poem was NOT written by me, but one of my very good friends from school. Also note that this was written after her English class had read a short story about never knowing when people will leave, this is not any sort of suicidal poem.

If I left this world,
Would you miss the way I smiled?
The way my hair sometimes curled?

Would you wish to hold me?
Would you want to be near me?
Would be confused?
Would your life seem unclear?

Would you wish you could call me?
Would you want a second chance?
Would you wish you had given me
More than just a glance?

Would you be sleepless at night?
Would you toss and turn?
Would the memory of me
In your heart still burn?

Would you see my picture?
Wipe a tear from your eye?
Would you try to be brave
Or would you break down and cry?

Would you pass my house
And feel a stabbing sorrow?
Would you hold on to yesterday
Or move ahead to tomorrow?

Would you be filled with remorse?
Would you miss my face?
Would you hope that I am save
In my ever special place?

Would you feel pain for my family
Who lost me to death?
Would you wish you had seen me
Before I took my last breath?

The way to tell if someone
Really does care
Is if you were to die tomorrow
Would they care you were not there?

So take advantage of the time
With those you truly love
Because they could be seized at any time
And sent up above.

Tell them you love them
Say what you need to say
Because you never know
When could be their last day.

Wow... That was a really exelent poem.

It would also make a sweet rap song too. You know, usually when a really good rapper dies, somebody makes a song for him. This poem would do a great job for that, IMO.
