Animal 'Forest 2' (tentative title) will feature a completely new engine. A majority of the original team started working on the sequel right before the end of 2001 (the gc installment and American deluxed version was done by 2 of the AF programers). Some of the major outline changes include ; wide variety of environments ; online interactivity ; cooperative gameplay (?) , multi-engine gameplay. Nintendo hopes to release the game by the end of the year in Japan. Odds are it will be premiered after E3.

Meowth's Party was one of the mini-games found in Pichu Brothers: Party Panic. Nintendo was planning to release this Pokemon themed-party game last Fall. Something must have fallen apart and caused the title to be canceled as Nintendo has elected to go with another Stadium installment instead. Some of the mini-games will likely be included in Pokemon Stadium 4 as well as some type of virtual museum and some very exciting linking features (?).

This is taken from a poster at the gaming-age forums by the name of EAD Ninja who has been pretty accurate in the past.

I doubt they'll bother to skip Pokemon Stadium 3, it's just that Pokemon Stadium 4 will simply be repackaged as it, besides, isn't this common practice for Nintendo, I remember Miyamoto claiming that they rebuilt every game from scratch mid-development. Or at least I thought I saw him say that.....

There are many many possiblities and upgrades/enhancements they can put into AC2. I really want to see the first screens and any factual info on the game. This is one of my must have games of 2003 (04?). Online play would top it off so great. *crosses fingers in hope of it*

Nintendo said basically that they are gonna wait for the right game to show online. I think AC2 is a game that could show off the possibilites of online.
