From Gamespot:
Square reveals the official release date for the Japanese version of its upcoming GameCube RPG.
Square has announced that the Japanese release date of Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles for the GameCube will be July 18. In addition, the company revealed that it plans to make a huge announcement regarding the game in May, presumably during E3.
According to a story in the latest issue of the Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, the world in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles relies on the powers of a crystal that has the ability to prevent an evil aura from covering the world. But since the crystal is slowly starting to lose its power, a mystical item called Milra's dew is needed to restore it. The game focuses on a party (made up of characters named Roy, Linly, Stea, and Voice) that sets out on a journey to find the item
Wonder what the "huge announcement" is???
