The commander of the US ground forces in Iraq is.....

General William Wallice.

How cool is that?

It'd be alot cooler if it was George Patton. He was much more entertaining.

"There is only one tactical principle which is not subject to change; it is, 'To use the means at hand to inflict the maximum amount of wounds, death, and destruction on the enemy in the minimum amount of time.' "

"God deliver us from our friends we can handle the enemy."

"Rommel, you magnificent bastard, I read your book!!"

"Always take the offensive...never dig in."

"Give me 10 days and I'll start a war with those God damn Reds and make it look like their fault. Then we can push the m*****f*****s back into Moscow where they belong!"

"We're going to murder those lousy Hun bastards by the bushel!"

"We won't just shoot the bastards, but rip out their living guts and use them to grease the treads of our tanks."

You don't get the name "Old blood and guts" from knitting sweaters.

Youn are forgetting the best one of all, and its an actual quote from him and not just from the movie:

"The point of war is not to die for your country, but to make the other poor bastards die for theirs."

All of the quotes are actually from Patton. The movie only
censored most of it. For instance: Patton's original speech to the
third army is about three times as long as the movie speech and
was a boatload more profane.
