I've seen some people who have been talking about Briaan Kendrick in the foprum, so I thought I'd provide a little background.

Brian Kendrick has spent most of his career as Spanky, a little pretty boy who basically had the same ring entrance as Sean Michaels. This makes sense as he was trained at the Texas wrestling academy that used to be run by Michaels, and is now run by Rudy Boy Gonzalez.

He has worked the Indies in the Northeast for a while now, and most recently had a stellar run in Ring Of Honor (my favorite promotion), along with other TWA grads. His finisher is called Sliced Bread #2 and its much like the Duley Dog, but he does a complete backflip off of the trunbuckle. Looks very impressive.

Names from TWA to look out for:

Paul London - The man does a reverse leg sweep DDT that looks GREAT and he flies arounf the ring and out of it like he has no respect for his own body.

Michael Shane - Relative of Sean Michaels (get it? Michael Shane??? Sean Michaels??? BRILLIANT!!). He is solid in the ring but has great personality and can hang on the mic with any heel. He has done a couple of spots for Heat if I recall, and made a nice showing for himself in each one.

I was present at match between these two that was so crazy and brutal, the fans started spontaneously changting "Please don't die!!!"

Spanky rules. Hell, most of the guys that wrestled in ROH rule.

Was it the Spanky vs Michael Shane match where Shane is bleeding like crazy, and he stumbles off the top rope because of the blood loss? I loved that match.

I'm so glad to see you enjoyed my recommendation Chris. I recommend ROH to ANYONE who loves great in ring pro wrestling action. They are without par in that area, even to the point that I think its overkill in the booking department. They just wear you out.

At the end of one of their live shows, you are as exhausted as the wrestlers from just watching them wrestle. Amazing.

get their DVDs and VHS at

www.rfvideo.com

And no, I have no affiliation with the their organization. I am advertising them just because I love their product and feel that all wrestling fans should support them.

Yep he's right guys, I've seen the first six ROH shows and they are straight up awesome. If anyone buys any WWE DVD's, I'd very, VERY highly recommend not getting a few and instead buying some Ring of Honor tapes. Whatever you pay will be worth it.

"I'm so glad to see you enjoyed my recommendation Chris."

And thanks by the way. I kept hearing how great ROH was, and was recommended to get some of their tapes by you and a few others, and like I said, WELL WORTH IT.

Strangler, what are a few of your favourite ROH matches? So far I really enjoy the three-way (Low Ki vs Daniels vs AmDrag), the 4 man Iron man match was pretty great as well. Then there's the completely awesome Low Ki vs American Dragon match... I could keep going on for a while actually.
:) But one match that stands out for me that I never hear being praised at all is Jay Briscoe vs Mark Briscoe. I just plain love that match, it reminded me of Bret vs Owen.
