Well, this is just basically news item that pretty much went unrecognized in the last week, and personally I don't think each deserves it's own thread so here they are.
-Jaleco is underway with a RTS game for next-generation console. The game is being lead by two folks who previously worked on Starcract and Diablo
You will wage war as an army against the specialized goblin warriors and other fearsome monsters in order to prevent the destruction of Ogriss. This can’t be accomplished without traveling through dark subterranean caves, lush woodland cities and towering storm-swept castles along the way. Goblin Commander sets itself apart from other real-time strategy games by having fast arcade-style action. But it also excels in richly detailed and destructible environments, and an easy-to-master control scheme designed specifically for console game pads.
Jaleco believes Goblin Commander will mark a revolutionary step forward in console gaming. Before each mission, players are able to choose a unique clan type, each having their own combat specialties. The addition of this strategy element should provide a compelling new challenge for each mission. Jaleco plans to have a lot of marketing force behind the title when it is released, including multi-media advertising and retail promotions. Goblin Commander: Unleash The Horde is scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2003.

-Monolith Soft has some form of a statement on their official site stating that they are currently working on a new RPG that will be released on the Ps2/GCN. No word on whether it's another chapter in the Xenosaga series or that game Matt from IGN was referring to. Some are pointing to an all new game in addition to the previously 2 mentioned.
