Legacy of Goku? It got average reviews I believe...like 5 out of 10 and such. My brother has it...I never really played it though.

It's complete ****.....
Get Golden Sun... Golden Sun is only $19.99. After you beat Golden Sun, Golden Sun 2 will be released in April this year... So those 2 games should keep you entertained... Whatever you do, don't buy that crappy DBZ game... Yes, I played it.
I guess it would be good if you're an ultra-hardcore bonehead about DBZ. But, it wasn't that appealing to me either. I agree with Crono_Link, get Golden Sun. Awesome game. And The Lost Age is ten times better than that. It's fun.

My brother has it, it's like the old SNES DBZ games trhat were released in Japan only, kinda boring.
The one "Kids Show" anime, or otherwise that I'm completly biased twoards in gaming is 'Power Rangers: Time Force" on the GBA because it plays very much like the good ol' 2D games on the SNES that we lost and since the thing came out in 2001 I've played it to death, HOPING that we'll see more 2D nostalgic games soon.
Even if you hate "Power Rangers", this game is worth it just for the "Old Skool" feeling, it may be simplistic in deisgn and easy to beat but I can only play TMNT II: The Arcade Game" so many times before I PRAY for an updated version of it because I'm so desperate.
Sadly the DBZ game was a bone thrown to the DBZ fans who kept asking "When do we get a DBZ game?" and even though I'm going to buyit, I have a feeling that the "Mobile Suit Gundam" game for the GCN won't be much better, I *hope* it is, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's rushed although I suppose a poor Gundam game (mauybe based on Zeta Gundam?) is betetrt han no Gundam game for the 'cube.
The DBZ game for the GBA fell short of my expecations for ANY game, and it's clear that this might be the same idea as the Yu-Gi-Oh! Game my brother has, with a "publish it and shut 'em up" mentality, sadly it only works for hardcore fans, but then again, why not jsut write some poor code with Flash player for the PC?
I was not only dissapointed by this game, I was dissapointed more than I was when the PSX "Gundam" games came out, which are as cr@ppy as they come, DBZ reeked of a rush-job and I think the only game that was done with more bugs is Mortal Kombat: Advance, and that's saying something. I'm an MK fan and even I HATED that game, so you can clearly see DBZ was below average.
They could have made it much more interesting, and I hope the nw "Final Fantasy" agems aren't going to take the same route of "Toss these guys a bone", because FF has been missed longer than DBZ has been popular, but either way there is NO excuse for "Legacy fo Goku", this should be labled something like "Legacy of Goku Beta Build 2.2.5" because it's clearly half-baked in every possible way.
If you're a Hardcore DBZ fan, try it, "Star Trek" fans put up with a ton of crappy "Star Trek" games before we get a good one, although "Star Trek Voyager: Eleite Force", "Star Trek: Bridge Commander" and "Star Trek: Starfleet command III" have all been pretty good and gooten higher ratings than usual, I'm personally waiting for "SStarTrek: Elitle Force II" for the PC formt hat franchise, but before Activision started making the games they had some crappy ones like "Star Trek: hidden Evil" which was as bad as "Legacy of Goku", Trek fans bought it, nobody else did.
That also makes you wonder, if these franchises CAN be doen as games, and CAN be done well on occasion, WHY can't they be done WELL EVERY TIME?!?!
I mean, geez, the last time Nintendo did a "Star Trek" game it was "Deep Space Nine" for the SNEs which was as bad as DBZ "Legacy of Goku" in terms of poor gameplay and a lame rush job.
I personally wish Nintendo would do more "Star Trek" games, better DBZ games (Howabout something for the Cube that has some thought in it's design?) and I'm hoping their Gundam, game isn't another "Gundam Battle Assult" like the PSX games which were aweful, but more like the PS2's "Mobile Suit Gundam: Federation Vs. Zeon" and "Mobile Suit Gundam: Journey to Jaburo" which were both pretty good.
My point is this, "franchise games" like DBZ are being rushed and when we get a good one, we're lucky, the "Star Trek" games are getting better but they still need some work around the edges, and the new TMNT games had better be as good as the old ones or I'm gonna be one mad Hero in a Half-shell fan.
In fact this is my adivce to Konami for the TMNT games, don't try to improve perfection, leave the gaems in 2D, and let the "Old Skollers" have at 'em, I almost bought Wolfenstiemn 3D today for the GBA, notbecause it was flashy, but because it was a classic. The DBZ Game is clearly a rush-job based on the old SNES games from japan, not even a "port" because the Japanese games were MUCH better in quality, you'd think they'd port 'em onto the GBA like they did with Mario and Zelda, but apparently Namco had ot churn out this POS called "Legacy of Goku", they can do better, and I think some of those "Mary Kate & Ashely" agems have gotten higher ratings than DBZ and that's saying something, unless your a rabid DBZ fan, AVOID!!
