How do I beat that one eyed monster at the bottom of the Deku Tree? I pre-ordered one thanks for everyone who helps. Just pick it up after you've posted your help.

When it climbs up the wall, its eye turns red. You need to hit the eye with your slingshot before Gohma (the boss) starts spewing Gohma Babies. When you hit her with the slingshot, Gohma will fall to the floor, stunned. Quickly run up to her and attack her eye with your sword a few times. Repeat until she's dead.

yep, cant really explain much clearer than that...also, while she is on the floor but not stunned, you can use your duku nut things to stun it.

Ok, two new questions:
1. How do get to see Princess Zelda? The guard just tells me to leave.
2. What is my objective at Lon Lon Ranch?

1. Have you gotten the chicken from Malon? If you don't, talk to her in the castle area, then go back to the fountain, then go backt o the castle area. Talk to Malon and she'll give you a chicken egg. Wait until night, then day, and the chicken should hatch. You need to climb up these vines up a cliff near the entrance to the castle area. You can get past the first gate that way. Try the rest yourself and if you need help, ask again.
2. You don't do anything there until after you've seen the Princess.

This is my very first time playing OoT, that's why I need help. I never played it on N64.
Thanks for help Ginkasa, I'll go try that out.

If your IGNinsider they have a written guide to Master Quest, or you can visit www.zelda.com/ocarina and get a guide on either master quest or the original.

I don't mean this by offence gameMaster... but... and really, don't get made... but... my cousin is 7 years old and he easily killed the Deku Tree boss his first time....
Well, yeah, the game does get a bit hard sometime later...and that's a good thing. Wait until you get to the Water Temple... After that, you'll probably be making 5 help topics about it.
Anyways, OoT is my favorite game ever made tied with Chrono Trigger. If you need any help, I'll be glad to answer any question... Of course, I am not trying to make an ass out of myself and say that I am the OoT master (which, I am ;( ) but yeah, I love this game and I love it so much that even helping others in it is fun for me.

Well the deku tree itself is a little harder then the original, and the water temple is a little if not a load easier.
The original Water Temple was difficult only because people couldn't find that one key under the floater in the middle section of the main hall. I had played through the Water Temple for about 6 different people because they couldn't find it. *sniff* Good times.

Nintendo said they changed some stuff according to the input of the Japanese people. I think in MQ you can even leave with an extra key, and you can skip a lot of the fire temple.

Yeah, I beat the Fire Temple yesterday and I left some part of the 5th floor empty...

I rememer the water temple man I was stuck there for a few days, until my friend noticed the key under the platform in the cuts scene when the water rised. :)
OOT is the best Zelda so far IMO.
Zelda. MM was cool but I liked OOT better.
*starts to remember the Spaceworld 2000 Zelda demo*
