I had to slightly break my little saying(Damn Senior English *shakes fist*), but since I'm working on my Senior Project right now, I need to know if anyone knows of a few good sites that talk about the History of Consoles. I've found a few on Yahoo!, but I want to see if any of you know of a few more I can check out. But don't expect much more since I am still taking my little "No Replies Break:D" (with the exception of this thread:D)

Gamespot.com has few good "History of" things. They have one on the history of video games, though not consoles in particular so you'll have to weed through the arcade and PC stuff if you use it.
*shrugs and walks away*
Nintendo Land is excellent for Nintendo consoles. I did a whole write up on the SNES cdrom history they had. It's superb.

Books are a much better source than the internet.

What book names should I look for? I haven't gone to my library yet, but will sometime this week.

The Ultimate History of Video Games: From Pong to Pokemon--The Story Behind the Craze That Touched Our Lives and Changed the World by Steven L. Kent
Also might find that under The First Quarter : A 25-year History of Video Games. First Quarter is the original print, Ultimate History of Video Games is the second print.
Game Over Press Start To Continue by David Sheff is a very good book on the history of Nintendo. Does tie in some other systems, but it's mainly focused around Nintendo. Then again, you can't understand the history of video games unless you study the history of Nintendo.
I've read those. I've heard Phoenix: The Fall & Rise of Videogames by Leonard Herman is a good book, but I personally haven't read it. I think Tombor might have though, not positive.
Like my underlining? :D

I read the First Quarter...pretty good read.
P.S...Does the second print have anything crazy worth buying, or is it basically the same?
