North Korea has stated that they are confident they can beat the USA in a nuclear war even if their missiles don't have any guidance systems which means when they shoot them there is no telling were they go. All I have to say to North Korea is f*ck off.

I'm starting to wonder about this Kim Jung Il guy... I thought he a nut, but a nut with a little intelligence (Lecter-esque). But he almost seems jealous that Iraq is getting all of the US's military attention. We're leaving him alone, and he keeps on making threats and saying he's going to go back to war with the US.

He just needs to calm down and realize that we'll get to him soon enough :D

lol...poor guy, i feel sorry for him, maybe we should send him a nuke as a present to say we haven't forgotten about him.

This should explain it all (http://www.theonion.com/onion3905/north_korea.html)

Disclaimer: I've just been banned in another forum for linking to a page with the word "rhymes with duck" on it, and since the Onion is only recommended for hardbitten cynics over the age of 4654647646546, do not ever go there or surely your eyes will burn in their sockets and you will die a miserable death forever and ever, and then lots of angry gnomes will jump up and down on your corpse for everer and everer. You have been warned.

P.S. I do often wonder why the US lavishes so much attention on Iraq which "may" have "weapons of mass destruction" (one of the most redundant media friendly phrases ever made), whereas N Korea has openly admitted restarting it's nuke program, and all kinds of other things which America seems anxious to police for the Good Of The World these days.

Sheesh, anyone'd think that Iraq and Afghanistan were something to do with huge abundant oil supply. But that would never happen in the World Of The Free [TM], would it?

You're simplifying things way too much. How do you think it takes to plan and organize an assault on a nation? 2 weeks? The US has been planning this attack on Iraq for quite some time, and the Korea pops its angry little head up and starts talking trash.

Its like Holyfioeld preparing for a fight with Lennox Lewis, and then having Tyson start talking about how he wants to destroy him. Holyfield will fight Lennox first, and then prepare for Tyson. One opponent at a time. Same thing here most likely.

As for the oil comments, they are silly. 20% of American oil comes from the middle East, and none of that from Iraq. The US gas prices are some of the lowest in the world and the US is looking away from the Middle East entirely for future supplies of energy. Plus I believe the US got in a war with Iraq a little while ago and didn't steal any oil then either, but correct me if I'm wrong.

Thinking the US is going to war with Iraq only for oil is the same as freeing yourself from thinking about this situation at all.

If we do attack Iraq... most likely the new government that is put in place will open up their oil fields to the market. This will lower oil prices, which will in turn stimulant our economy.

So, we are partially going to war with Iraq for oil. But trust me, France has a lot invested in Iraqi oil than we do.

By that logic then, wouldn't the rest of the world wantr Saddam out to so the UN could get their hooks in?

Iraq is one country with oil in a land where a lot of countries have oil. While it may be a factor, its a tiny one.

Oh (back on subject) ... Didn't North Korea say something about a nuke of theirs that had the capability of affecting all of the United states (Alaska included)? If that's what they said, I laugh.

North Korea has no ICBMs and the missiles they do have don't have any guidance systems. Translation: Even if they were stupid enough to launch a nuke, most likely it would never reach the US, and even if it did make it that far it would have as good of a chance of hitting Canada or Mexico.
