Which one will you buy? I'm gonna (maybe) get the 'Cube version because of Link. But me getting a 'Cube version is kind of already known by everyone here.;) But just vote:D

I don't buy fighting games... so I won't be getting any version, but I will definitely be renting it.

Just to add something, it seems a lot of Nintendo fans want to buy this game JUST because of Link... which is kinda dumb.

I think that was the whole reasoning behind including the exclusive character for each console, I mean if not most likely the PS2 version would have sold the most, but now folks got a reason to look at the other versions so eh.

I won't buy any of the games, but I dare not say Fighting Games suck (woooh, go Marvel vs Capcom and Guilty Gear).

That's a loaded question...If I choose not to purchase SC2, I therefore must state that 'fighting games suck!'?

Oh, I didn't vote because I'm not sure right now...

I never really liked SC... so I won't buy it. The version I will give a rent is the Ps2 one 100% because of the controler. One stinking charicter won't make a difference.

If this game is still a button masher like the DC version, renting ime will be more than enough tie to beat the game wih everybody(if I even pull myself to like it)

I'm getting PS2 version because of the superior D-Pad.

Although Spawn is really a more tempting character than Heihachi... I'm not willing to sacrifice comfort and control for a better character (IMO).

The GCN version...

I don't know how anyone could justify buying the GC version if they own either of the other two consoles. The gc controler is awful for fighting games and even if you use a 3rd party controller, you have got to admit that the GC version is probably going to be a notch below the other two anyway. Such is usually the case with 3rd party games on nintendo systems.

The GameCube controller is awful for fighting games... so I guess that means I'll be getting the Xbox version.

I used the analogue instead of the D-Pad when I played SC on the DC, and since th GC has definately got the best analogue stick out of the three controllers, I'll definately be buying the GC version... I have no problems with the actual button layout (buttons aren't too close to each other like on the xbox controller, though I should probably see what the S controller's like), and besides, I've got the Playcube, so I could use the DS2 on the cube if I ever wanted to.

Add that to the fact that Link's in the game, and the Cube one is definately for me :D.

Oh, and Stonecutter, have you actually seen SC2 in action for the Cube? It definately ISN'T a notch below any of the other versions ;).

I don't about anyone else, but I usually never have problems with different controllers for games. Even if I play a game on two consoles, once I get the different layouts down I have no problem.

And the GCversion has Link which pretty much makes my decision anyway.

I'm going to get the Xbox version from what i have read it has a better GFX code in it and will look better then the other versions! (but it it play like crap on the Xbox I will chage to the Gamecube one).

Link please? It's not that I doubt you, it could look better, but from what I understand from what was said, each version will be take advatage of certain graphical aspects on their respective systems, or in other words, they'll all look around the same, and some things might be better on one system than the other, and vice versa...

For me, it just comes down to character preference and controller comfort. And since I'll get the best of both worlds with the GC version, considering Link, and the choice of either the DS2 (nice symmetrical layout, and best D-Pad out of a poor bunch) or the GC controller (best analogue, which is what I use over the D-pad anyway, and definately the most comfortable controller all round for me).

Well, I like how the Xbox one looks. The Gamecube one is great too seeing as Link is in it. Most likely I'll rent the Gamecube one and then choke a duck for supper.

I don't know about the ps2 one.. I've never been fond of digital pads in 3D fighting games.
