I bet Acclaim really regrets making the game. It hasn't done them any good at all.

Wow, what a great discussion. We all just put smilies.

I guess I'm not helping, either, but...

I know acclaim is going through money troubles and it would really suck if this is the start of putting a nail in the coffin. After all Acclaim has delivered some good games over the years, however, in this generation it seems as though they are just rushing the games out, trying to make a quick easy buck.

If they had taken time out to do quality game(s) ( they have the talent), then I'm sure this would not be happening to them right now.

Now does anyone have anything to add, other than a smiley?

:D

Maybe Dave Mirra should have looked into the game a little more before agreeing. You know, instead of having people do everything for him maybe Dave should do himself for once (he does do his own bike tricks but thats it ;)). I hope it hurts his reputation a little. I think sueing afterwards instead checking the game out before makes him look kind of like a loser.

Its not that he's just seen the game and doesn't like it. he already told Acclaim to cut off all ties between him and BMX XXX. They didn't, so now he's suing them.

Why don't you get bad at the other people? You did add a smiley at the end of your post, so I figured you were just asking for somebody to make a smiley post.

Well, a XXX rated game SHOULD have gotten an AO ADULTS ONLY rating, and been left for Adult's Only.

I don't need to play the game to see the screenshots, and if I wanted to see naked women, I'd by a copy of Playboy magazine.

Seriously guys, a XXX game should be treated like a XXX movie, it doesn't get an "R" Rating it gets an NC-17 rating, and this game wasn't rated properly by the ESRB who is known for wrecking ratings as it is, I miss the god ol' RSACV advisory which actually GAVE YOU INFORMATION about the content of a game, with ACCURACY.

I still think the fact that Doom for the GBA got a Teen rating and Mortal Kmbat Advance got a Mature rating is rediculois, but as far as XXX is concerned, the game should have had more warnings and Dave disaccoisated his name from it about two months after it was annoucned I belive, this means either he's looking fora quick buck, or acclaim didn't hold up thier end of the deal somewhere.

I don't know which, but we know Acclaim is in deep crap, and they need to have thier arses fixed PDQ.
