Just two weeks ago, I got my first taste of GTA when my friend lent me GTA 3 for PC, and I love it! I just went over to IGN and was checking out their reviews for GTA 2 and GTA: London 1969 and since then the game has been completely redone (graphic wise). I guess those of you who have been GTA fans from the beginning appreciate the "make-over" GTA has received since then (a 3D world now). Anyway, since I'm brand new to GTA and the world of PC gaming I was hoping someone could inform if GTA: VC will be made for PC, and if so, when is it due?

I also have another question: Can I rip and burn a copy of the contents of the "Play" CD which has to be run when you're playing the game onto a CD-R so that I can continue to play this game when I return it to my friend. I tried once but the computer knew it wasn't the original, and I'm thinking maybe it was because I didn't name the CD onto which I burned the contents the same name as the original "Play" CD. Anyone have any tips/suggestions?

Thanks.

It will most likely come to PC sometime, but I'm not sure. If it did, it will probably require nVidia's newest video card;) (Asylum I believe). Reason I said that was because GTA 3 said on the box that it needed a different amount of Video Ram and when people tried installing it, it said you needed at least a 128 meg. video card which pissed people off and returned their copies.

it didnt actually require that. people had it running fine on 32MB cards.

and it wont REQUIRE a new card. it might have special things that make use of the new card. but it wont require it.

and i heart it will most likely come out mid 2003

There's an install CD and then there's a "Play" CD which you have to have in the computer while you're playing. I think it contains most of the audio.

oh. same cd, heh.

There are ways to copy your CD, just have to find the right program to do it for a certain game.
