Well, from what I understand, the game is about The Matrix Reloaded, but it doesn't have the characters from the movie (Neo, Morpheus, etc). Here is some info about the game though that I got from the official website (http://www.enterthematrixgame.com):

those characters are from the Matrix Reloaded movie, the man's name is Ghost and i forget the girl's name.
