I plan on getting when I get the money for it.

I'm in the same boat as Crono that and I really don't need to get it again since I got the DC version, but the game was just too cool. So what part of the game are you up to?

I'm where they are on the lookout and they spot the first Moonstone in a long time or whatever. :)

How long did you rent the game for because I know Sailor's Island is like a couple of hours into the game.

Well, his name is Drachma, captain of the Little Jack and he is a bit of a weirdo, likes to leave you a whole lot during the game. Atleast, you are progressing faster than Bondage...:D

OMFG I'm at level 4!

Anyway, BAB, is there some way to restore full health instead of using crystals? Because I'm not full of money you know...

I plan on buying the game but I'll have to it order over the net. So it might take while to get here. :(

theres a green spell called Sacri, that restores 500 HP. Aika was the first person to get it in my game, she should have it. I think it costs 2 MP

btw, how long is this game?

Well, the character learn all the same spell but at different rates, but also like any RPG if you can find a place to rest that will restore your health.

Well I beat the DC version in like 45 hours with like half the crew members and about 3/4th of the discoveries so if you are a perfectionist it's like a 55-65 hour game according to the game clock.

is it a particularly hard game? (i like a challenge)

and how fairs the story?

Well, define hard? I mean it's an RPG, you level up, if you don't have a certain level you will probably be squashed rather quickly, but the game does have some depth to it, and some real strategy especially those ship to ship battles.

As for the story, I liked it, I mean it's nothing life changing but it's cool, got all the elements for a good story, love, hate, betrayal and lotsa comic relief.

Ok, I just had to ask Vyse's mother if I could rest. Easy as pie. :burger:

The game seems great so far, but those Loopy things keep on running from me. I actually want to fight one...

I'm about 15+ hours into the game. I like it so far. It does get kind of simple if you just level up like crazy. I don't think the monsters HP are affected by your level. So you can be super strong but they will always be at the same level. This makes some of the battles too easy and they just become a hassle. As if they weren't hassles already.

i killed a bunch of those, as far as I could see, you dont really get anything amazing from killing them, maybe i'm wrong though, meh.

is it just me or are the graphics pretty damn good for a DC port? i was expecting bleh, but they are surprisingly good. mediocre perhaps for GCN standards, but they're fine by me.

The graphics are very good for DC standards so that's probably part of it... Then they did slightly upgrade them for the port so...

That's why :D

Oh yeah, I think the graphics are really good for a DC port. GameSpot was complaining about the texture of the graphics or something, but I'm not so sure about what they meant by that. I'm really enjoying just the feel of the graphics though.

I'm about 5 hours into the game now. I just freed Fina and Dyne. :D

Well that is rather easy, whenever in a new place, always try to look for any major cities or something, once you get there, the villagers are more than willing to point you in the right direction for a price most of the time.

The game gets very difficult at times and the storyline is wonderful.

I'm planning on buying it because a friend of mine gave it to me before he sold hid DC to get an Xbox and I know that this is not just your everyday port.

(Hopefully the battle system is a little bit more improved.)

I'm about 6 hours into it and I'm leveling up Fina at the moment. Stupid level 1-er.

Heh, that harpoon gun is awesome, you don't even have to use your other guns, just defend until you can use the harpoon.

Just wait until later, there are guns that make the Harpoon cannon look like a little dart shooter. One cannon in particular that I am now in possession of. :D

Just beat this game a couple of days ago. It was a good game, but nothing spectacular. I have to say that the most of the bosses, even the final bosses were a joke. They were simply too easy for my characters. The side quests contain harder bosses than the main quest. I am working on collecting all discoveries and finding the last of the moon fishes.

By the way I spent close to 50 hours and my level was 50 something.
