Well this is from the same conference as the Raw one, so same source for the info and whatnot.

-It seems like blood will be in WM XIX, I never got why Yukes' never had permission to use blood yet AKI had it in all there games. I hope they don't add blood for blood sake and actually make it look good.

-"Also, look for huge improvements in the animation in Wrestlemania XIX. Much like Smackdown Shut your mouth did."
Don't know what that means, probably it means more er motion captured moves that are the same no matter how you pull them off or a discharge of pinball technology where everyone within striking distance falls, who really knows.

-No question on Stone Cold Steve Austin, but since the nWo made their debut last year at NWO and were able to make it into the game in time, I think Austin can make it in time as well especially since the game has not been officialy revealed.

From what I have gathered from talking with various people in the know is that while the complexity of the gameplay is not to the extent in No Mercy but is actually closer to the current WWE match style then No Mercy was.

As much as you might complain about it not being a port of No Mercy, I can understand THQs and Yukes view. If you want a remake of No Mercy on a next generation machine then you should probably check out Def Jam Vendetta. A game that looks very promising but Yukes wants to develop a game that best represents the liscense that they have.

They mentioned a ton of improvents across the board in graphics, controls, depth and strategy. One of the modes in particular that was mentioned was the belt mode that they are looking to improve upon.

I do know that they are working on implementing the elimenation chamber as one of the mode options. I am not entirely sure on which game it will be in. I do not think that it will be in Raw 2. So that would leave Smackdown 5 and Wrestlemania XIX. Again they are currently working on it and lets hope we will hear more about that option soon.

Well some more details

I think and I wish that with the huge success that AKI will have with the Vendetta series (I heard a sequel will be made) They will get a contract with somebody that wants a more wrestling based game. Maybe THQ but they can go to hell IMO.

I'd like to see Aki do more work under EA's wing... maybe a simulation wrestling game with a fake name. (Def Jam is arcade, I'm talking sim)

if it had a good enough CAW I'd never go back to THQ

That would be awesome TheGame, but sims is certainly not EA big's department, EA maybe. But a sim from AKI without the WWE and with a CAW would be the best wrestling game ever. I mean just imagine the season, without trying to copy the WWE, it would be awesome.

*Acts shocked*

You don't say, how totally surprising.

But just because AKI makes a new wrestling game, I'm supposed to lose all interest in any other wrestling game and only care about that?

I mean AKI makes probably the best wrestling games on the market, but that doesn't mean the other games aren't enjoyable in their own way.

...Yes,

Anyhoo, if the game is going to closely represent actual WWE matches, then expect your matches to suck unless you're playing as Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle, or Eddie Guerrero.
