I popped in SOCOM for the first time in many many months. And I'm sorry, but I cannot stand another second of this game.

First of all, I noticed they deleted my name. That bites. Someone else thinks they can play using my reputation!

I can't believe how different the game was now. First off the graphics were awful, I was beginning to get a headache playing that game. I used to play with progressive scan, and now I was just using S-video, but the difference shouldn't have been that much. All the textures and images blur as you run, and it's the worst thing I've seen in my life.

Second, the controls are horrible. I could not aim, no matter ho hard I tried. I tried to gently move the thumbstick over and move the cursor slowly, but it was just jerking around everywhere. I don't remember the controls being like this, but it wasn't the controller.

And finally, all the problems SOCOM had are still there. Shooting someone 50 times and then having them turn around and kill you. Having to shoot someone 50 times to begin with, 1 shot should injure them, 2 max should kill them. The whole run and gun thing is not realistic in any way, and teamwork still takes second priority to MVP.

I enjoyed this game back when I used to play it, but going back on it, I cannot stand to play it again for one second. I like that they added a billion new servers, and I like that they're actually servers as opposed to another gaming service. I was hoping to try to play with you a bit, but I can't come back to the game. I'll stick to Ghost Recon.

Well, at least you tried, gekko.

I do not know what you are talking about shooting a person 50 times for them to die. 3 ACTUAL shots does the trick.

I don't know why you are ragging on the graphics. They aren't amazing, but they are not blurry like you say. Unless I just haven't played truly amazing looking games, becausae I think that SOCOM looks good.

And for aiming, you just have you get used to it. I find it very easy to aim, and that shows with how good I am, lol. Aiming is only jerky when you don't know what your doing.. .haha.

Teamwork does take second priority when you just play with random people. Luckily, the clan that I am in (it is a new clan) has like all the cool people from US East 2. So, there is always at least 3-4 guys on. And with this, we just sometimes sitck together and put our radio on offense so we can focus on team play.

And the HUGE amount of countries in the game isn't that good when it is from 8-10pm at night. Server crashes happen at this time, kciking most people off the servers.

Oh, and the whole deleting your name thing... Ya, tough luck for you. How about you buy a game, and play it often. Bizatch.

Graphic weren't blurry before, at least I didn't notice it. But everytime i moved it felt like I was on acid.

And I used to be able to aim well. But going back to it, the control truly blows.

dats why no one can beat the keyboard/mouse setup for controls. even on a 3rd person shooter.

i went back to play some MGS2. couldnt aim in it =(
