This is more of a PS1 game and I was wondering if you guys played the game.
What would you give these factors:
Graphics
Sound/Music
Gameplay
Battle System
Story
Characters
Also, how long is it? And be sure to rate those factors above by a maximum of 10. Thanks and I hope some true RPG games like Crono, Random Perfection, Bluefire, and DarkMaster answer this important question. Thanks guys.
I need this question answered quickly too... I might get the game soon off Ebay or something.

I've never played the game, but DarkMaster is buying it sometime this year. Me and him are both getting tons of older PSX games. I heard it was awesome though.

I've played the game, and mind you... it's one of my favorites.
Since I haven't much time right now, I'm going to give basic scores, 1-5 scale.
1 awful, 2 foor, 3 fair, 4 good, 5 great
Graphics - 4 (Cool 2-D effects. However, it could be improved, of course)
Sound/Music - 4 (one of my favorite soundtracks. Exactly like Star Ocean 2, though.)
Gameplay - 5 (It's completely different from other RPGs. I love it)
Battle System - 5 (It's turn based... but you choose when the people attack! Great combo possibilities, and awesome PWS [purify weird soul] techniques!)
Story - 5 (It's based on Norse Mythology, has awesome characters, and the main cahracter is indeed a hot one. These elements, along with wonderful plot development at many angles makes for a wonderful story)
Characters - 4 (Each character is introduced through his or her death. What better way to understand the depths of their character! Too bad some of the characters downright suck though *cough*Badrach*cough*)
Overall - 9.5 of 10 (yep, back to normal scale)
It's like an Action/RPG. You're in dungeons, controling the movement of Lenneth (Valkyrie), and you have to solve small puzzles, depending on the difficulty. When you attack a monster in the sidescroller-ish mode, you go into turn-based battle in which you choose whether a person will attack, use an item, or cast a spell. Then, when the turn starts, you control the order of events by pressing certain buttons for the four characters. If you time it right, your characters will make a nice combo, bringing your PWS meter up to 100, allowing you to choose someone to use their ultimate attack, doing massive damage, and once again raising the meter.
The game is brought to you by Enix, which is the company that Square is planning to join forces with. Therefor, you know this has got to be a good game.
I highly recommend the game!

Somehow I knew you were going to respond to that.. :D
Anyways, I've never played the game myself (for one thing, I can't even find it.) But I've heard it's a great game worth playing.
It received an overall score of 9.1 at IGN.
EDIT: I think it's a better idea if you buy it off half.com (even though Half.com is a part of ebay.. :p)

Yeah, I am dying to play the game... But, I am at the end of Breath of Fire 4... So far Breath of Fire 4 is really kicking ass! After I am done I am going to open Valkyrie Profile.
I'll have impressions while playing the game and once I beat it, I'll have a review for the game... But damn I wanna play this game right now... I just don't want to stop playing Breath of Fire 4 (which is one of the best games ever) just because I got Valkyrie Profile. :)
