EGM named Skies of Arcadia Legends the Game of the Month.

Shane: 9.0 - "absolutely phenominal experience."

Milkman: 9.5 - "Legends offers fresh addictions that make it worth playing all over again"

Ethan: 9.0 - "GameCube desperately needed a title like this."

Visuals: 6
Sound: 8
Ingenuity: 7
Replay: 6

That game rightly deserves this title.

What were the scores for the other big games, namely Panzer Dragoon? It must have been pretty close.

Mark: 9.0 - "gameplay that'll keep you coming back"

How comes Panzer Dragoon beat SoA:L in 2 departments, also draw in two, but score lower? (I'm talking about Visuals, Sound etc...).

I guess I don't get their rating system.

Ah well, I'm not complainin or anything, I know one of them is amazing, and the other said to be brilliant. Can't wait to try out SoA:L and see what's new, and also play PDO.

The editor's score is their personal opinion. The others are more technical reviews. They average the editor's score for a final score.

GCN will finally have a solid RPG with a good story. Too bad we won't be seeing another one until FF:CC or Tales Of Phantasia.

Well, PSO isn't that great story wise. And you need to play online to experience it's highest potential. But it's still really fun to play.

Yay for Skies of Arcadia, hopefully it finally gets the respect it deserves as one of the most balanced RPGs. I hope these additions and modifications help to make this game a true classic. I'll probably pick it up once again for GCN.

I plan on ordering it in..........cause there is no way I'm paying $135 US dollars any game.

But I can't wait to play it.........I've been looking forward to a good RPG for GC.

I hope this is the first of many to come!!! BTW did Metroid Prime get reviewed by EGM as yet?

Yes, a long time ago as a matter of fact. I think it got perfect 10's.

It got GOTM to, though I think it tied with Metroid Fusion.

It didn't tie with Metroid Fusion. There were "rumors" before the mag came out saying they both got 10's. But its not true. MF I think got either all 9's or 2 9's and a 9.5:confused: But pretty good for GC. It needed a good RPG. (I'm not dissing PSO. I have it. Its great. Just waiting for my bday so that I can get a credit card and pay for it)

Always wanted to play it on my Dreamcast, just never got around to buying it. It would probably be cheaper if on DC if I could just get my DC back from my cousin...if he still has it that is...
