Do you guys think Phantasy Star Online is worth buying if you don't go online?
Thanks in advance.

For a while. After a while it can get boring, but you could always play Multimode with a friend offline. So, yes it is...
(For me at least...)
I was stuck playing offline with my brother, and hell yes it is worth it if you DO go online. You can play offline and make a total ass out of yourself. :D
But still, it's fun playing with friends and family members... I probably would even purchase it if I didn't buy a HL. I showed it to my cousin and he's going to buy it now.

Hmmm we plan on buying this game, with BBA, but I'm not too sure about going online with it. It costs money, and online RPGs are very addicting... I don't have that time and neither has my brother (although he would MAKE time by skipping homework).
The BBA is just for future use.
Offline doesn't sound too bad... co-op could be nice. :)
Ok. Just don't plan on playing it much by yourself offline. Especially if you're a force like me. :(
With family and friends it's great though.
Well, if you have people to play it with I think it's cool. But don't plan on playing it alone. It's not fun alone. Well, at least not considering how much fun it is online. So, yeah I'd say it's cool.

I've been playing it offline ever since I got it for X-mas. But now I don't play it much anymore since I don't have an urge considering I'm just basically doing the same stuff over on hard except that its uh...Harder. Hopefully I can get online soon. I am out looking for a job now so that I can at least get a bank account up and running and get a debit card that has either the Visa or Mastercard logo on it (not to mention a diff. ISP *shakes fist violently at AOHELL* But I have done some offline-multi with a friend. But he just started a character so I am basically just helping him once in awhile.

It's okay for offline just not as much of a multiplayer experience. With four friends it gets laggy and the screens are too small to be good unless its on a 60" tv. Does anyone know where I can purchase a modem adapter becxause i checked nintendo.com and checkecd the stores that stock modem adapter and all the sites said discontinued or out of stock?!
No, they shipped a whole new batch at the beginning of the year.

You should be able to find a modem adapter. I was just at Wal-Mart the other day and they had like 5 or 6 in stock. But just shop around, you should find one.

co-op is good.
but if you can spend some time building your skills offline, then when you finally do get to go online you can own some people with your high levels :D
Not anymore! I remember my first day (third day since the servers started running) online. The highest peeps were like level 35 or so. The game was freaking hard because nobody had high *insert specification here* mags and stuff. But these days, people just have diferent characters and all they do is lend the items of their other character to their new one. i.e. I make a new Hunter and give it my Ranger´s high power mag and there I have a Hunter with level 1 dealing 100 per hit with the weak hit and 200 with the hard hit. I´m not condemning (sp?) this as being cheating or anything. Just that it won´t ever be the same fresh experience. It doesn´t matter anymore how much you level up off/online, you´ll always meet someone who can fight as well or better than you online (And sometimes with lower level).
