See I have a NVIDIA tnt2 32MB but its not cutting it. Im not sure if I should get a Geforce 4 or a Radeon 9000. Please write me back A.S.A.P.
Thank You
9700 you mean?
Anywho. if you want the top. i'd recomment you wait just a bit and get one of the new nvidia NV30's
if not id say a Geforce4
i prefer nvidia over ati. better drivers i find.

Well no i cant afford the 9700 so i was going to get the 9000 instead.
then i'd recommend GeForce4 over that.

Well duh! The 4600 is also twice as expensive as the 9000. The Ti4600 costs as much as the Radeon 9700, and the ATI card is much better.
And I prefer ATI. Always been happier with my ATI drivers :D
You'd be better off buying a Radeon 8500le than the 9000. They're about the same speed only the 8500 is cheaper now. If you're hell bent on getting an nvidia than go with the ti4200. The 4600 is the same price as the 9700 pro. I'd also wait until the new year. Prices usually drop once January rolls around.
actually the 4600 is about $100 cheaper then the 9700

You guys are confusing all the names, so just to be sure.
Radeon 9700 : Same price as GeForce4 Ti4600, about $300 and the Radeon 9700 is better
Radeon 9700 Pro : $400 retail, but it's much much better than anything else
(But those retail prices are really really inflated for some reason. Search around the web at sites such as buyxtremegear.com and you can get all of those for $100 cheaper than their retail prices.)
If you wait until the next Nvidia cards (GeForceFX series) come out you'll be waiting until sometime in February, and they aren't guaranteed to be much better than the 9700 Pro cards.
If you can't wait, then I'd get a Ti4600 (which can be found at prices at about $200-$250) or spend just a little more on a 9700 Pro at about $300-$320) to get a card that'll last you much longer. :burger:

you live in canada you dumb idiot :).... ofcoase its gonna be more expensive here... but anyway... if you search around you can get it for much much cheaper... infact.. if i was good friends with a kid at school he could get my a new ATI card before it came out.....his dad owns some branch of ATI or something like that.. hes rich off his ass :)
