Dumb and Dumberer

Anybody else think the Dumb and Dumber prequal is a good idea? It doesnt even have Jim Carrey or Jeff Daniels.

Cast Notes: (10/22/02) The most popular casting rumor at the moment is that Ben Curtis may have been cast as Harry (Jeff Daniels' role in the original). Curtis is best known as "Dude, you're getting a Dell" guy. (11/19/02) Well, that rumor was apparently either bogus, or he just didn't get the role, because Harry will be played by Eric Christian Olsen, who played the "cocky blonde guy" in Not Another Teen Movie. The role of Lloyd (Carrey's role) is going to Derek Richardson, who's making his acting debut with this movie.

What about the National Lampoon Vacation seires? The kids are different in EVERY one. Of course they still had Chevy and Beverly Deangalo. But I think the last one they made was the best one(Vegas Vacation) Just because it stars new people dosent mean it will suck...it most likely will, but still...

No because calling it Dumb and Dumb would make sense. The point is everything about this movie is dumb so why not label a prequel with a future-tense title :)

I saw the trailer for this movie and sat through it completely straight faced. It's not even that I didn't find the jokes funny. My roommates and I were watching it, and we couldn't even identify what were supposed to be the jokes. It was so bad that it was painful. And this is surely not a good sign. If a movie doesn't even have enough material to keep me moderately entertained for two minutes, there's no way it's going to keep my attention for an hour and a half. I'm gonig to avoid this movie like the plague.

I think the movie could be very funny. I look forward to seeing it in the theatres. It's a long stretch to say it will be as good as the original, but it should still be pretty good.

Well gosh darnit, it's not like your fanfic has had a new chapter in a while, but maybe it's me.

And just because someone asks you to plug it doens't mean you have to, I'm sure if I was to nicely ask you to jump off a brdige, you wouldn't...

Anyhow, I have never seen the original Dumb and Dumber or bothered to stick around through the whole thing so I guess this will be more of the same.

The first is one of the best comedies ever. But not it has a new everything, and I have much doubt in it.
