So...lack of topics in this forum, I decided to make this thread. Resident Evil games are fun and the story can get interesting at times (keywords: at times). So, which is your favorite?
Resident Evil (PSX, Saturn, GC) The first game in the series dealing with the bizarre events. The game stars Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Rebecca Chambers, Barry Burton, and Albert Wesker. Things go wrong and betrayal occurs. The remake also included a new enemy/character (Lisa Trevor) with an interesting backround.
Resident Evil 2 (PSX, N64, soon to be GC) The setting is a few months after the events of Resident Evil 1. The game stars Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield, Sherry Birkin, Ada Wong, Annette Birkin, and William Birkin (some others too) and a nice stalker named Mr. X.. :p The virus has been leaked into Raccoon City and the city is over runned by zombies and other mutations. You take the role of Leon or Claire to escape Raccoon City as soon as possible.
Resident Evil 3 (PSX, soon to be GC) In the same setting as Resident Evil 2, this is a type of side story (while being a whole game itself). The games stars Jill Valentine, Carlos Oliviera, Mikhail Victor, Nikolai Zinoviev, and your new best friend, the Nemesis. Part of the game takes place before the events of Resident Evil 2, and the other part after. A short game, most people would say (including me.. :p)
Resident Evil: Code Veronica (DC, PS2, soon to be GC) While I don't know a lot about this game because I have yet to play it, it stars Claire Redfield, Steve Burnside, Chris Redfield, Albert Wesker, Alfred Ashford, Alexia Ashford, and others, I guess :p Let me just get some small description off a site:
After narrowly surviving the horrific onslaught in Raccoon City, Claire Redfield now seeks clues in search of her missing brother, Chris. The Umbrella Corporation memo read: "Confidential: Phase I -- Raccoon City. Test complete. Phase II -- Paris Facility. Fully Operational."
To her horror, she discovers Umbrella Corporation's insidious activities are not isolated to the remote, mid-western city. No. Something much larger is going on here. Flesh-eating zombies, horrific beasts and even stranger mutations have spread to a global scale!
Just how far does this twisted conspiracy extend? What is Umbrella Corporation really up to? And, who is behind this bio-tech terror?
Resident Evil: Survivor (PSX)
I haven't played this either. I heard it was a big piece of garbage.
It stars completely new characters. I think the major flaw of this game was giving it the genre of FPS...but I don't know :p
After narrowly surviving a helicopter crash, Ark Thompson awakes to discover that his nightmare has just begun. Stricken with heavy memory loss and left with no one to help him, he soon learns that the town is infested with zombies. With his gun as his only form of protection, Ark must embark on his quest to escape.
During the game, Ark must seek out clues to his own identity, as well as an explanation of why everyone is attempting to kill him. Who is behind all this madness? Will it ever come to an end? Time will tell.
Resident Evil 0 (GC)
The newest game in the series is a prequel to the incident in the mansion. It stars Rebecca Chambers, Billy Coen, and the Bravo Team from S.T.A.R.S. I don't know many things about it, but I will this Christmas (I hope) :sneaky: .
