the GTA franchise is exclusive to Sony's console until about 2005 I think...
I think GTA games can still be on GBA and PC, but I'm not sure

Rockstar is exclusive to Sony until 2004 not 2005.

No just GTA is a Sony exclusive, not all of Rockstar's games. X-Box
will have State of Emergency soon, though it's a pale shadow of
GTA.

Oh thats right, sorry about that. I played th original Staate of Emergency. Unless they add a WHOLE lot to the XBox version I won't even blink when its released.

so once 2003 is over, GTA can go anywhere?
I thought it was THROUGH 2004, or until 2005.
But maybe you're right....I just thought the deal was for more than 20 months...

Reason why I'm asking is my brother wanted to get it for his XBox.
Well fat chance of that happening. Thanks guys.

Well, I heard it was in development... before the contract and all. Maybe if Ps4 and Xbox 2 comes out about 2 years later than expected GTA will find it's way on Xbox or maybe even GCN.
