how good was your file, what did you have, how long you played, how powerful your character was, etc.

in terms of wut? mine was very good. i have every ultimate weapon, every Aeon, every character is very far along on the sphere board, and so on.

My file was pretty good, I had:
- 4 ultimate weapons unlocked
- very far in the sphere grid
- Blitzball team players were around level 35-40
- All Aeons
- All Overdrives
- Played for nearly 70 hours...

And what other Aeons are there? (besides the four I have... which may be the four first ones or somthing)

I'm at the part where I'm fighting a monster on top of the Al Bhed ship. I got about 19 hours.

Where would I find these... ultimate weapons?

I would take anything that could make these damn battles easier... in fact, some times in battle I spend gil just to speed it up (Rikku's spare change move)... only against bosses though.

I had around 45 to 50 hours... I only got Nirvana...

and I got Anima and Yojimbo...not Magus Sisters though.

After I beat FFX, I didn't feel like completing any sidequests.

Is there a way to navigate the world? Because, at the part I'm in, there is no going back. After beating the game you can go back?

Oh, and I thought the story line was kind of cutsey until yesterday when we took down Maester (sp?) Seymore (sp?)... then things turned horrible...

That's my kind of game :D

So far my only nagging issue with the game is that I don't find much fun in the battles.

I just about had everything.

Lulu and Yuna's avergae damage was 99,999.

There got EVERYTHING!

1. You get the airship after the Zanarkand Ruins.

2. It's spelled "Seymour"

There are 8 aeons (actually theres 10 cuz the last "aeon" is actually 3). They are:

- Valefor
- Ifrit
- Ixion
- Shiva
- Bahamut
- Anima
- Yojimbo
- Magus Sisters

Ultimate Weapons are each character's strongest weapon. You need a Sigil and a Crest (I believe) to fully activate each one.

Bleh, I'm still on the part where I have to kill the monster on top of a ship w/o Yuna heading to stop her from getting married.

Any tips?

For my last hour of gameplay I have been leveling up with everybody.... but the change is so minor that it doesn't make a difference in the big battle.

It's like, when I get it's HP down to about 50% it uses haste on itself, and even the magic spells I have won't slow it down... when it does it just turns around and uses hate again.

When I back the ship away and it's on haste it always does that dive move and smacks us all, when the ship is close it always does that poison move. The thing is (only when it's using the "haste" move) there is no way to anticipate or defend against it's attacks.... well, there has to be a way if ya'll beat the game, but I've wasted more than enough time trying to figure it out.

When it casts haste on itself, move like a mofo. It's also a good idea to have Rikku use her Al Bhed potions when Evrae does poison breath. I used Auron to hurt him good :) I think I may have used some Aeons too when he got all pissy.

Whenever Evrae "roars" (or whatever it is that he does), move the airship backwards, if I can remember correctly, it prevents him from using Poison Breath. And Al Bhed potions are extremely handy. Other than that, just keep hacking away, eventually he'll die.

You can't do the moving back strategy after you've taken a good chunk of his HP because right after that he'll do his Swooping Scythe or something and you'll be back were you're at.

I think it would be a good idea to cast Haste on your best attacker. (Auron in my case..)

i dont know why so many people have trouble with Evrae, i found him to be incredibly easy, as with every other boss in this game.
