I was going to say you should get one because it has good games but since you don't like the games I would suggest getting one to fufill your inside desire for more love within your family that is shrouded by an outside desire for more materalistic items to settle your unnatural restlessness which is fueled by media, school, and outside forces pressuring you to be and act a certain way to satisfy the artificial society you're forced to be a part of.

If you need people to tell you why to get one, don't get one...

He might not have known about the clock feature or stuff like that! I never needed to ask because at my school I am the number 1 source about Gamecube info Yet I don't own one.

The clock feature is...the clock feature...the Dreamcast had one, The PS2 has one, and The X-box has one...nothing new there.

As for real reasons to buy a Cube.

Resident Evil Exclusive.

Nintendo is simply the best developer in the world, and you cant get their games on any other system.

The best controller.(once you get used to it)

Industry leading load times(there is no denying this one, GameCube's load times beat the poop outta the PS2 or XBOX)

Thats about all I can think of...lots of good games on the horizion...

Perhaps it's just me, but I'd never make load times a factor in my decision of which console to buy.

If any of you have ever played the original Timesplitters for PS2 you would WANT better load times. I must've sat there at least 30 seconds waiting for it to load a multi. game. But back on topic. The reason for getting one? Because I have AC Jon and you know you want your own town so that I don't evict you;):D

The PSX/PS2 controller is the best IMO. It's so simple and works pefectly.

I disagre. The PS2 controller is very good except when you use both anolog stick for fps then its horrible and impossible to get comfortable with.
Anyways
Why you should get a gamecube well there are few good games on it but they are the best out there. RE0 is simply the best game graphically. ED:SR is like playing a lovecraft book.
The rpg lineup right now is not that great(though i loved lost kingdoms cant wait for #2) but with ff:cc and skies of arcadia legend on there way how could one not want a gamecube.
Gamecube also has grewta racing games though 90% are out for other system F-zero is coming out aw yeah. Not to mention MarioKart eventually.
For fps its got the smae stuff basically as everybody else Medal of Honor, Bonds, Timsplitter but it has Metroid which is unbelievable good.
Not to mention SMS and SSB.
