Original Controller:

The Xbox controller is one of the most solid, comfortable controllers ever made. It has a very
sturdy, solid feel to it, --->while being the ideal size.<---- The controller is black, with a clear
window that shows the Xbox logo on the top. It has 6 action buttons
(A, B, X, Y, Black, White), start & back buttons, a d-pad, and two analog joysticks on the
face. On the bottom are two analog triggers, similar to the Dreamcasts. The two joysticks
can be clicked in, resulting in 12 buttons total. There is also a built-in rumble feature
in the controller. If you are interested in third party controllers, again, always make
sure that they are officially licensed from Microsoft to avoid damage to your console.

honestly.... As for the controller that originally came with Xbox. (one i had the most time with)

Controller is too big, clunky.
buttons are too small, too close together,
didnt like the feel of the stick.
uncomfortable.

now For the newer controller dont remember what its called. but i think they got the size issue much better, i still dont like the feel of the stick for some reason. but i thought it was much better then the original.

--you talking about the original one or is this some newer or 3rd party controller your refering to??

I am a cube fanatic going playstation 1. Yet i still can't bring my self to diss the new S controller i think it was. But If I have the time and money I will buy an original XBX controller and mod it so my N64 controller can go underneath it. LOL

The controller was big, clunky, and uncomfortable. The clickable sticks are a nice feature to have, but it has limited uses, just like GC's shoulder buttons. Not bad, but I'd hardly call it a "button."

Back button is stupid. White and Black are hard to reach on both versions, so I wouldn't consider it an "action button." And I don't like the D-Pad much.

Built-in rumble. Never seen that before.

Could not have said it better myself.

S controller is way better. I think it may even be the best controller for Fighting games (yes even better than the Dual Shock 2). The DPAD is so good!
