How Asashi Shinbun announces today, Nintendo announced the "Imachine".

Translated from the Asashi Shinbun from today:

"the successor of the Nintendo Gamecube provides already after the first mention for true inspiring storms.
Spontaneously, absolutely unexpectedly Nintendo OF Japan published today a message, which lets the entire video game world shake.

The successor of the Nintendo gamecube is baptized "Imachine" and lets the competition with surprising, technical specifications plae.
Thus the Hontsu processor of an unknown manufacturer is produced named "Karunawaru" and bring along mad 5000Mhz.
With the RAM it meant Nintendo obviously also good, whole 512 MT GDR RAM spendiert one the newest piece of cream.

A GB fixed disk belongs to 10 likewise to the scope of the Imachine. MEMORY Cards unnecessarily and gigantic plays will be supposed the fixed disk optimally to use to be able.

Would be nice though, but it's too good to be true me thinks. Probably not true :)

It would be cool, but that N64, SNES, NES backward thing just doesnt sound right...Not to mention ugly and big it would be.

Sonds kind of like Xbox... well, minus the N64 and SNES drives.

Has any one seen the commercial for the Universal Business Adapter??? Ibm Commercial i think??? This I-Machine kinda reminds me of what that big piece of **** looks like. BTW why would Nintendo not milk the last penny out of the GAmecube before introducing a new system?

Shiz

5000 mhz?bs

bt that time only computers will have that much, and only good ones. to put that in a console would cost aloooooot of money wouldnt it?and ive never heard of that RAM.

and wasnt nintendo all secretive and **** about the gc's specs and said they dont release info early because the competition will copy and improve upon it?guess u all forgot that :\

and a ten gig hard drive wouldnt fit in with the rest of those mad specs. and to be compatible with all those other types of games is plain retarded, think of how much the console would cost, like 1k lol

Hmm... hasn't anyone noticed that

"But here is it from Nintendo OF Europe!!!!"

is rather drab? Weren't 'they' talking about the Super Game Boy Advance with the flip top and the backlighting? That ensures the crap seal of approval from me. I don't think anything leaves NCL before it's ovr 80% done, and they've got three more years to finish it. Apparently

It's weird that this one has such a weird code name... Gamecubes was Project Dolphin N64s was Nintendo Super Duper NES or Ultra 64 i forget which. And if it is the real name who would beleive that this guy must be advertising e-machines or the like!

Shiz.. at the rate that PC chip speeds are rising.. a 5000 mhz chip isnt that far off....So by 2005 to put something like that in a console wont be too expensive...

Anyway.. my thought.. a successor cant sell cubes and if there is a megaton this isnt it.. like someone said in this topic

Wow, what a bunch of BS.

Though, creating your own ROMs would be fun :)

Wasn't N64's code name Virtual Reality or something?? They wanted to name the machine Ultra 64 but left the Ultra out. :)

What if the next console has some kind of cable with multiple adapters for old cartridges. Like the one you see for power supplies.

SNES |_|N64
.........NES

nintendo wont even release info on a game until 30 sec before its release. no way they're release this much info 3 years in advance.

announcing project dolphin is far from releasing info like this.

pretty much all the pro. dolphin announcment was... was nintendo saying they had teamed up with IBM to make a next generation 128bit console.

all the specs for the gamecube were kept hush hush untill the spaceworld like a year maybe in advance?

They announced Project Dolphin 2 years before at E3. Big reason was because the first console of that generation was coming out in a couple months over in Japan. PS2 was also coming out early that next year in Japan. Can't let you fall behind.

So far all we have heard officially is that there will be another console from Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft. None of them are giving details, because if information like this was true, it gives competition years to develop better hardware.

Either this thing is true and Nintendo is going to put all the other platforms in their place or whoever made this up is gonna get hunted down by angry fans.
Keep in mind Nintendo managment has changed recently and maybe the new presisdent is as cunning as his predecessor.
