yah, i remember Raven Blade, that game looks pretty cool. Besides, GC needs a good RPG for balance.

Raven Blade!

I remember they gave it up because they were focusing only on Metroid Prime. They said they had run out of ideas and their engine was going in a loop, but I don't believe them. They'll probably go back to it once they've finished localizing the jap and euro versions of prime...

I think they might go with Raven Blade. And like Angrist said, I hope they make a really kick ass FPS that rivals PD (0) since 'Cube owners won't experience it (unless you own an Xbox, but meh).

Metroid: Vice City.

Well, not really that name. But GTA did the very same thing. It road the coattails of the popularity but also improved the game immensely. If Retro has enough good ideas up their sleeve to implement (which I have no doubt of), I say go ahead full force with an already badass engine and make a sequel to the game of the year within a year.

I dunno, the Cube has like no good racing games, besides wave race blue storm, so Ill have to say the Car Combat.

We need RPG's. That's why Raven Blade would be Retro's best game to make.

No offence to car combat. But, racing games are to be made by third party's not first party's. How would you like it if you were expecting an epic game and got a gimick car racing game.

No offence, but I play videogames to do things I could never possibly do and I could always just get a car and drive it.

Well a nice A+ racing game wouldn't be bad, but most of all what GC really needs are RPG's although I'm told they have a few coming. FF.CC, SOA, and some cell shaded rpg game; can't remember the name right now..it begins with P though.

But I think we need a killer app Rpg....and I'm not too concerned on who makes it....but Retro makes it, well more props for them.

The gameplay was revealed after the cancelation. Retro said it was canned because the game went in continuous loops...

When IGN asked Nintendo if they will give away the Kid Icarus franchise over to Retro, Miyamoto said "I'll think about it."

Look what they did to Metroid, imagine what they can do with Kid Icarus.

On the RPG front, we have Skies of Arcadia and some Namco RPG (might be Tales of Phantasia, but different sources say different things) to look forward to. As for racing, well, does F-Zero count?

F-Zero will be one of the best racers off all consoles. But ppl want realistic racers, like GT3 and Sega GT. :unsure:

GT3 just screams quality and polish. It controls like a dream and has so many options and races it makes your head spin...so of course people want it...it's the best racing game ever made

Actually, Namco arre making more than one exclusive RPG for the GC. Tales of Phantasia is one of them, another one I can't remember the name of, and another unannounced one i think (not sure).
