Try WinZip or Stuffit

It doesn't work, the thing I download is actually a game, but all there is only .sfv, .r#.
#=Any number
Stuffit doesn't work either, it can't open it because its not a .sit, or .zip file
So what else can I do?
Download WinRAR... search for it on google. It's like a Zip file that requires WinZip to open it.
i actually prefer using Winrar over any of the other programs.
Winrar opens like everything. easy to use. gets done exactly what you need it to.

Downlaod WinRAR, it's better than WinZIP, which only reads "Zip" Archives, WinRAR reads many more filetypes including RAr and ZIP Files, I PAID for WiinZIP, ad I should've bought WinRAR instead, if I have "upgrade" my Archive Utilioty again, I'll get WinRAR. Beware though, if WinRAr has done what WinZIP has done, you can't DL the "Trail Version" and just keep saying "Remind me Later" to purchase the program on newer versions, I DLed WinZIP 8.0 around mid-July, expecting to just be able to say "Remind me Laer" to the "Buy This Program" Window, and WinZip kicked me out until I "Piad" for the full version! I have a CD-ROM with WinZIP 8.1 but it stil cost me money that I didn't have to "pay" for use with the older versions so keep that in min if WinRAR stops working, they might have it set as "Crippleware" similar to XP's Product Activation, the differance is they don't el you you HAVE to buy it after the "Shareware Lisence' is up
why didnt ya just reinstall it if they stoped letting ya use it? then use it again until they did it again, and reinstalled once more. etc.
but winrar is a lot better.

Heres what u need to do...
It prob came in one big .rar file. Extract that. Now its prob a folder filled with a bunch of unreadable files that say 00 and 01 and 02 or something like that, and .sfv and stuff. Look for the file that is the biggest out of all the numbers. They might be the same. Either way, its prob the first file. Open winrar and click file and select open archive. Head to the game folder its in and pick the first file we were talkin bout last sentence. It should have a .bin and .cue in it. Extract both.
Now you need to download a program cause you probably don't have it....
Its called isobuster. I think the newest is 1.1. You can download it here http://download.com.com/3120-20-0.html?qt=isobuster&tg=dl-2001&search=+Go%21+ (isobuster).
Don't get overwhelmed or frustrated. It may seem complicated but this is easy.
Ok, now open isobuster and go to file and open the .bin you last extracted with winrar (we were talking about it before i said to download isobuster). A tree of files pops up. There is this red icon that says iso on it. Right click the iso icon and select extract. It takes a while but don't worry, almost done!
When its done extracting you should have all the files you need to run the game in one folder. You prob have a crack or something to do to run it, but the setup and everything else should be there.
If you need help or got any questions, its no problem if you im me or post it.
Hope that helped. All the info is there but i'm not very good at explaining things simply:unsure: Don't be afraid to ask questions....

Yah, Winrar is the best compression utility for Windows. Well worth the money if you like that kinda thing, it has a way better GUI than WinZip and stuff.
Not tried out the Linux versions yet though... hopefully it's as good as the plethora of Zip programs out there for Linux, and hopefully just as free :)
There are loads of free WinZip progs out there if you look (not share or crippleware), like7-zip, dunno about the RAR situation as yet. But as always, google is your friend.

Cyrax, you seem like a very very angry man, puncuated by your angry smilies in every post and the slurring and misspelling of all your words in every post.
As for ZIP files, WinXP has it's own unzip built in, which is kinda cool. It shows ZIP files in Explore as if it's a folder, and you can click on it to read the files inside or click the plus sign and it shows the folders inside.
As for RAR files, I love WinAce; it does everything I want very well and I've never had problems.

Well, as some of you might have guessed, IMO the inbuilt zip functions in XP suck. They don't let you do half the stuff that WinZip and other do - I've never been able to make a self-extractor with it, or am I missing something?
WinACE is OK, but IMO WinRAR has a far superior GUI.
But I still stick to 7-Zip, cos it's free and handles, uh, everything. And does everything. And is generally excellent.

Manasceret, you are right, I am angry, very angry.
I'm angry about Microsoft's newest buisness strategy of creating a larger monopoly, I'm angry about Microsoft denying me the pleasure of my MS-DOS games, and more importantly, I'm angry of the Palladium Chip and Product Activation on the Hardware level that is looming over me.
Yes, I AM angry, but ti's not at everybody, it's at Microsoft and those who blindly support a corrupt buisness, he reason I'm so fond of having Pika around is because he knows what Microsoft is planning, and he knows that it isn't good. GHHe knows you won't OWN yur data in a few years and I can only smash so many "brick heads"together until I get sick of trying, biut as of niow I am angry and until a Supereme Court Justice reads a Microsoft Verdict stating that the company must dissolve, or cease prodution of 4/5 of it's software I will be angry still, not at you, at them, just remebr that when you can't play your MP3s or view your webpages without paying MIcrosoft $2000 a day to go online.

You're right about XP Zip functions as far as I know, it only unzips files. I don't use WinZip or any other archive program for anything besides unarchiving files, so I'm no authority on it.
