... to my beloved Eagles? They looked like they didn't even eant to play last Sunday against the Colts. Very disappointing. BTW, you have got to listen to the Sports Talk radio around Philly. One game down and already everyone is saying how much the Eagles suck, Donovan needs to be benched and Andy Reid needs to be fired. Got to love Philly football fans:rolleyes:

I'm also an Eagles fan, and my dad and I are also wondering what happened. Super Bowl bound, yeah right. Plus they barely beat the Bears. If you look at there trend so far, they have lost one, then won three, then lost one, then won three, and then lost one again, so if they keep this trend the should win three more, then lose one, then win the last three games. So it wouldn't be too bad 12-4. But I doubt that that would even happen.

Yeah...that game was pitiful. We let a 5th string rookie running back destroy us...We now have 4 teams ahead of us in the conference standings, and while the division shouldn't be too much trouble, I don't think we have a very good chance at the bye anymore. I think we can win out, but knowing us, we'll probably go 5-2, clinch the division, but still have to play a first-round game. And if the Packers are still in it and we have to play them in Lambeau, forget about it, the odds just aren't there. Despite all of this we still are the only team undefeated against the NFC, which is a good sign, but going 1-3 against one of the weaker divisions in the NFL, the AFC South, is inexcusable. A super bowl contender would be 8-1, or 9-0 with our schedule...anyway...go Eagles...now if we lose to the Cardinals...heads will roll.

P.S: About Philly talk radio...don't even go there. Do you listen to 610 WIP? I can barely listen to those guys for more than 10 minutes before their unprovoked pessism kicks in. It's like they can't say one positive thing about any team...ever...I know that Philadelphia hasn't had a championship in 20 years, but still, I like to be enouraged.

Manning, Mungro and Marvin the Marvellous caused Major Mayhem for McNabb and Mates ;)

Now McNabb is done fore the rest of the regular season with a broken ankle, of course he played his best game of the year with that broken ankle, go figure...*kills self* ehh...*tries to be optimistic* Koy Detmer has been a reliable back-up in the past, I think we can still go 4-2 the rest of the way, win the division, and still can the 1st round home game. That is all we can hope for at this point.

Well Green Bay helped us out a lot today. If the defense steps up I think they might go 4-2, but I'm thinking 3-3. But if we get Donovan back for the playoffs anything can happen.

KEEP HOPE ALIVE!!! KEEP HOPE ALIVE!!!

What we need now (us Eagles fans) is for the receivers to get open and catch the ball. And we also need Staley to step up with some huge drives. At least McNabb is only out for the season, because I believe that we can make it to the playoffs. I don't think we will beat the 49ers, and maybe not the Rams. Seahawks, Redskins, and Cowboys we should beat, and the Giants are the team that I'm not sure of.

I pretty much agree....I think we can win one of those games against the Rams, 49'ers, and Giants though...it will be tough considering if you look at our schedule like this. San Fran (West Coast) Rams (Home on East Coast), Seahawks (back to west coast), then back home...it's bad scheduling to have to go back and forth like that, even rougher for a backup quarter-back to be thrown into...I still have faith...Go Eagles!

I believe in the Eagles. Koy Detmer isn't a rookie and McNabb has probably taught him a couple things during the practices, but he cannot run because if he does then we will lose. He needs to stay in the pocket and throw to the receivers and they need to catch the ball and play smart. The Defense should be fine and the special teams are awesome. I doubt that we will beat the 49ers, but the Rams we could because DA Bears played well against then considering how good the Bears are this season.

Woohoo the Giants lost to the Texans, 16-14. Now if the Eagles lose to the 49ers they will still be a game ahead of the Giants. this is so relieving since we don't have McNabb.

OMG! What the hell just happened on Monday Night Football! We killed the 49ers, but in the process we lost another QB. I can't believe this happened. 38 to 17 was the final score and the Eagles somehow managed to play like a team for the first time this season. And if you hadn't noticed, the Eagles's offensive line had been protecting Detmer all night, but the moment they let someone get through Detmer got hurt. This puts us tied with Green Bay for the second highest record in the NFL 8-3, 1 game behind Tampa Bay who is 9-2 and we earned it. So if we end up having the same record as Tampa at the end of the season then will get home field advantage because we already beat them. O yeah, I think I read in the newspaper that Detmer is gonna be out for like 2 to 3 weeks which is another big lose for the Eagles. What are your thoughts about this?
