WOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! On Tuesday, GTA:VC will be released for the PS2. I really cannot wait to play the hell out of this game....
I remember last year when GTA3 came out, there were alot of people who were anticipating it... Yet I really do not think that Rockstar imagined that it would be so successful.
Now that VC reportedly has over 4million pre-orders, this game is ready to brake some records. I will be picking my copy of the game up first thing after school.... And I really do not think that I will be getting any homework done that night.... And the nights to follow.
So.... I think that I might post some impressions on the game either Tuesday night or Wednesday night.... But then again, I might be in my room staring at the glamorous city of vice.
So, share your thoughts on the game here, if you wish. Buh bye.

I am lucky because all of my big assignments are due on Monday and Tuesday, so I won't have anything big to do in school for about 3 weeks! So that is 3 weeks of un-interupted GTA:VC time..... W00t!!!!!!!!
I might even skip a day of school if this game is REALY REALY REALLY GOOD.... So I have to pick a day which I won't learn too much from school..lol

Although around here stores don't get their shipments in until Wednsdays... And Best Buy not until thursday (Although it's advertised in their ad thing as being available Wednsday)...
Stupid best buy...
Then of course it will probably be sold out... I don't have a pre-order... :<

You bought a guide? HAHAHAH... There will be better, online guides out within the first couple weeks of the games release. Utilize the web, man! Don't pay for things that you do not have to.

why Electronic Botique of course :D
might help that i was #2 on the list to reserve it. (the guy who works there was #1 *mumbles*)
i just called em up tonight. they asked when i reserved it. i said i was 2nd on da list. he like oh. well you get yours monday around 7.
i guess they wont have enough on monday. and only a certain number of people will be able to get thiers that night. *shrug* or maybe they're going according to the list so people who reserved ahead of time are sure to get one before the people who JUST reserved one.
doesnt matter to me. cuz i get mine monday :)

strat guides ruin the fun of playing and finding everything on your own.

It depends on the person, and it depends on the game, and it also depends on how far you are into the game.
In a game with extreme diffuculty, and a huge lack of instructions from the manual... Strategy guides can make the game much more fun. For me, games that fall into this category would be Perfect Dark and Goldeneye. There are also a whole host of other games I had to access online sources or get some type of help for.
I've never came accross a game where the strategy guide acctually hurt the game's fun factor... but then again, I only use guides when I absolutly need them.
GTA3 is pretty easy if you ask me... but there were some points in which I had to go to gameFAQs.com to get a little help. Chances are a guide won't be needed for Vice City.
you needed a strat guide for GE ?!?
part of the fun is doing it on your own.

Well, I beat Goldeneye on my own on Agent... then on Secret Agent I got half way through the game and quit playing for months (maybe even a year)... one day I decided to pick up the manual, and it gave me assistance to beat the game and unlock the secrits.
The game was hard and fustrating before the guide, after the guide it was fun...
Some stuff people don't want to figue out on thier own. In GE's case, it was simply too diffucult, and that ruined the game for me. Once I got the guide, it gave me a little more direction. Now I have every Cheat unlocked, and beat every level on the hardest diffuculty. The guide made the game twice as fun... and it didn't ruin the fun of me doing stuff on my own, because it only gave me direction. The game was still hard after I got the guide, I just figured out how to complete the missions.
So, in other words, a guide can make a game more fun to play... Like I said, depends on the person, and it depends on the game.
Another game a guide rejuvinated was Pokemon. On Blue and Red, I had no problem getting 139... Gold and Silver were beat, done with, and colecting dust. Once again I get a guide, and it makes the game fun again... it points me in the direction of the Pokes.
