When will we know Metroid's ESRB rating?

What do you guys think it will be?

I really hope it's not rated M. Then I wouldn't be able to get it.

It will most likely be T.

It's teen. Nintendo stated it them selves.

Your parents dont let you buy M rated games/Get M rated games for you? But I figure it will be T. Unless we see blood pop up in some new screens before the games release. (I can hope...right?!)

If they decide to show Samus in Bikini as a bonus, like if you finish the game under certain time, that could raise the rating a little bit. But still I don't think that would get it an M rating. Unless they decide to show her in a really really hot bikini, or naked or something. j/k :D But in the past she apeared without the suit at the end of the game. So, they might do it againg. Who knows.:burger:

There is liquid that can splatter onto your visor when you shoot things. That liquid is usually some color other than red, though, so maybe it doesn't count as blood.

But even so, Goldeneye had some minor blood in it. When you shot someone, the particular body part you hit would turn red. And people made noises of pain when you hit them. Goldeneye had a Teen rating.

It's also not very likely that Metroid Prime will contain cursewords (or any words at all since Samus and her alien enemies generally don't talk).

With all that considered, I fully expect Metroid Prime to get a Teen rating.

It will be a big day when Nintendo finally releases a First Party "M" rated game. The closest they ever got was with their -Second Party- Silicon Knight's Eternal Darkness. Unless I'm horribly wrong and they released hentai games in japan or something. I don't know.

Are you aware of the Fire Emblem series..? The SNES ones. Fire Emblem 1-5 were rated "M." Yes, they were first party games made by Nintendo... Director: Shigeru Miyamoto.

FE has loads of M rated stuff... Girls getting raped, families getting murdered, battle strategies, bad language, violence, and others.

So yes, they have made them before. But you know what sucks? They never released it in Amercia. :(

Just out of curiousity do you plan on getting Metroid Prime and/or a platinum GCN. I mean I know you don't own a Cube and what not just thought you were somewhat interested in it.

Yeah, sure. Anytime. :beerchug:

Also, I personally don't emjoy games which is all about blood and violence... Sex is a different story. :)

But seriously, would you rather see dark rooms and getting scared ****less like in RE or surfing in the beach and flying like in Mario games... Personally, I find games from Nintendo more exciting and relaxing rather than Silicon Knights' Eternal Darkness and Capcom's RE and Ominushu series... But of course, that's my opinion.

I am interested in it, but I'm not getting it. Not yet, anyway. Warcraft III is occupying me when I need a diversion. Besides, I want to buy that GameCube with my own money, not the money that my grandparents gave to me to for college spending.
