I believe this is the big announcement every1 is waiting for.............

Here it comes (by this time, or most likely when u read the topic, you've realised this has nothing to do with "THE ANNOUNCEMENT" from Nintendo):-

I GOT SMS!

Well. I did. It's right in front of me. I haven't even played it. I thought I might do a b4 and afta thingo.

I got it a night earlier than it's official release (thanks to connections). Also I got Yoshi's Island on GBA!!!!!!!!

So much Mario lovin'.........too much to handle all at once.........what to do? :Puke:

I don't know what to do !!! Should I put it in my GC? Or read the instructions first...........

The last boss fight is weak just like the gamecube.

only part of that is right, you must be fanboy for thinking the GCN is weak

Anyhow, congrats bobby!! now you may finally experience wut so many of us have had for a long time (SMS :D) I havent played yoshi's island in a long long time. how does it handle on the gba?

But anyway, great news, bobcat, it's an awesome game. I can't wait till October 17 to get to the Cube Club and play some of the upcoming GameCube blockbusters.

Um Zerocool is right though the final boss battle in SMS is kind of weak. I think some of the other bosses were harder or atleast a bit more annoying.

I don't mind. I read the post, but for some reason I don't remember what he said.

So I'll leave it at that. But seriously this game is so fun. After reading IGN's review, I have to disagree with many things that were said (and agree with some).

And I won't be going newhere near gamefaqs! ;)

Really? I thought the controling is great. All controls suck at first... You just got to get used to it. As for the camera, yeah, I have to agree...It does suck. But the worst camera I've seen so far is Kingdom Hearts'.

I dunno the controls seem too sensitive to me... the movement...

I also don't like how the same button to speak to the weird things (all of which seem to say stupid pointless things that waste your time) you have to hit B... B also makes mario do some weird thing if you're standing fairly still, or makes him dive if you're running... meaning you have to come to a complete stop...

And although this is technically a camera problem, the camera constantly screws up the movement... Like the direction you gotta press to move a certain way or whatever...

So yeah... :unsure:

i played through sms and a good portion of kh, and i have no problems with either cameras. i never have problems with cameras in games, i dont even really notice it at all. sms gives you almost complete control of the camera by using the C stick, you can zoom in and out, which is great for those hard plateforming levels. and i have no problems at all with the camera in kh, i feel comfortable using the L2 and R2 buttons to rotate the camera. i can spot a lot of bad things in games, but cameras never really trouble me at all.

I have no gripes with the camera, nor the controls. Maybe PAL version is improved :unsure:

Have you tried to climb the giant Ferris Wheel in the 4th Leve? If you do that the hard way come back and tell me how great you think the camera is then.

Oh yea...the camera is a real bitch there...but otherwise with a little adjusting now and then, the camera shouldnt be a problem.

Bought it yesterday morning! :D
I have 6 shines now, I've played for about 3 or 4 hours I guess...
It's really so much bigger than SM64!
Controls are great, but as DsH said, they're tighter than SM64. There are also so many moves!

The camera isn't great, but easy to adjust.

Too bad I can't play this week! :(
