Didn't the Geforce3 pretty much just come out?
And what's the price on this thing? I'm thinking about buying a Mac every since I saw the new iMac (I've been using Macs for years), but I was hoping there would be a better tower Mac coming out so I wouldn't have to buy the hard-to-upgrade iMac (though the design is enticing).
Oh, and do you have some confirmation on this? I kind of just assumed you weren't making this up since you're a big Mac guy, but a link would be nice. :)
EDIT: Never mind on the link, it was easy to find an article on it, Macworld.com for one.

Apple.com for another :)
And the GeForce3 was announced in MacWorld Tokyo. I ordered the first G4s with one way back last Feb. So a good year old.

Yeah, but weren't the geforce 2's out before the 3's for much longer than a year? At least I thought they were.

db Not that I know of. The GeForce 3 debuted on the mac in like what- March? Correct me if I'm wrong Gekko, but that's what turned me on into getting a new G4 (had an old 450mhz G4)....
I definately want this bastard...I just can't tell if it's right to get now, seeing as those G5's are coming....I'll wait 3 months before I make my decision.

I searched around for GeForce2 info, and it was announced near the end of April 2000. So I was wrong.
