View Full Version : The mass exodus (for all the old gcc guys)

Anyway, I was a forum admin and writer for www.gcubecentral.com and a few months ago we decided to go with some new hosting. We chose xautic.net and a few weeks into the hosting we (and all the other xautic.net sites) got shut down because the people at xautic were involved in a child porn lawsuit. GCC came back in late july but since then we were not able to get our membership base back. Today, GCC officially shut down forever. In the past few weeks we decided that we would try and keep the community together. After much decision we decided that we wanted a place that was much like our forums during the good days. Medium sized, with enough members to keep a discussions going and good mods that refused to put up with peoples crap. The almost unanimous decision was gametavern so here we are. The former members of gamecube central. I'll let the guys tell you themselves who's who.

The point, well, there really isn't one, but I'd hope that everyone here would recognize the old community and welcome our old members.

If gametavern is looking for some cube/gba reviews/previews (some are a year old) I still have all of my old articles from the site, you can use them if you want, send me a pm.

I was a member of GCC... Germ, if you were there, you would understand. It was my favorite forums ever and it was my first stop to everything. The members are...

Stonecutter, Me, Mechadragon, Spike_Speigal, knux, Mr. Nobody, Zebra Rampage, and that's it I guess... So we're all looking forward to this place. Nice site. Reminds me of the good old days last year in GCC. So.... nice to meet you all.

I was a proud poster of GCC. Even though I joind late in GCC launch, it still was one of the coolest forums on the web relating to gaming
