What is to become of this place once the doubloon system is gone, and replaced with the "karma"? Will everybody who has access to the Black Project now, have access forever? And how will new people get into the Black Project forum once dblns are gone? I say we vote people in....

If you remember, Neo said that now, all the new people just have to pay 500 dblns. and they are in "permanently". but I think Karma will just be a new name instead of calling it doubloons. But I'm not entirely sure:unsure:

But, if we do this vote thingy, I think that the people that we vote in, we can also vote out. So if we bring somebody in, and they are not posting as much as we think they should, or we just don't like them, we can vote them out.... But that is only for the people who we vote it, not any of us.

After leaving BP, I'm back. Do I count as a permenant access member or do I have to keep my karma up? And if I'm voted out for some reason, will I get 500 doubloons back? Personally, I think that would be really cheap if people had to pay to get in here and then they're voted out and swindled simaltaneously. The purpose of this place is a lounge for old guys and vetrans right? A newbie free zone? So, will the people voted in by your voting council have to have met certain requirments? If not, I think that defeats this place's purpose. More thoughts to come soon...

I don't think we should do any "Voting" for the BP Forum on GT, this is wha killed the FYEO forum at NDose (Aziz's NDose, not NDose net), because some memebr scouldn't get in, they left the site, with the Dblns system, everybody has a "Fair shot", and with the Karma System, it's just as fair, if we give the members too much power thisd will just become another "General Forum" with topics like "What did you ahve for breakfas?", rather than "Spontenious Huamn Combustion", and it won't be as interesting as it is now. I say we just keep the diea of once you get a certain "Karma Rating" you're in, ohterwise you're out, and maybe make the Mods/Admins "Excempt" fromt his process (as they are now), otherwise no one will control this pace and we'll have complelte anarchy, giving members the ability to "Vote" People in and out could destroy the BP forum as well. As far as the Karma System goes, let's just see how it works before we jump the gun.
