So I went to gamestop to pick up my copy of Sims: Unleashed, where I noticed that they had the collector's edition of Robotech Battlecry for both PS2 and Xbox. The Gamecube version, not suprisingly, is not coming out until October. Well I originally had the GC version on pre-order, but when I saw the Xbox version I decided to go with it instead of waiting. I remember the reviewers saying that the early builds of the Xbox version looked the best, and even if the other two are up to par at time of release I figured the Xbox version couldn't be any worse.
Btw, the t-shirt alone is worth the price of getting the collector's edition. Not because it's cool or anything (I don't think I'd ever wear a Robotech shirt in public), but because of the way the shirt is packaged. They managed to compress the shirt down into an impressively small volume. And instead of pulling it apart, you could use it as a frisbee. wee!
Anyway, you should get the game, because it's like, fun. Guardian mode is a little hard to control, mainly because I end up switching modes when I'm trying to reduce the throttle. Oh and I had to go back to get the s-controller since my hands got tired with the normal one.
