View Full Version : Think you know horror films? Test your knowlege here. (You could get some doubloons)
Doctor Zhivago

I'll explain how this thread works. Basically, I just post a question related to horror films (Something like "What was the name of Dario Argento's last film"?) and then someone tries to answer. If they get it right, they get 100 dblns. If they don't, I get 100 of their dblns. By the way, you'll only have ten minutes to answer. Oh, and I also neglected to mention that there will be four options to choose from. I know that this is a bad idea, but I need doubloons
Well, here's the first question:
Who composed the music for all ten Friday the Thirteenth films? (I'm embarresed to know this)
A. Jerry Jarmesh
B. Harry Manfredini
C. Kevin Nolan
D. Sean S. Cunningham

Damn, that's ten minutes! Fine, I'll give you ten more minutes. Please post : (

Here's another one: What song was played at the beggining and end of An American Werewolf in London? No options this time!

Naw, I'm just kidding. You people don't owe me anything...well, if I don't have to give DeathsHand anything. He had one easy ass question, anyway. And he had four options. Oh, by the way, the answer to this one is Blue Moon. BLueFire almost got it.

I feel like starting this thread up again. But I'm going to stop the doubloon thing. That was just stupid. Anyway, here's another question:
Who played Michael Myers in the first Halloween and what theme song from another John Carpenter movie did he perform with Carpenter?
A. Kurt Russel, the theme from Christine
B. Harry Dean Stanton, the theme from the Thing
C. Nick Castle, the theme from Big Trouble in little China
D. John Steinbeck, the theme from Ghosts of Mars
*this is an easy one*

Alrighty, but no options this time, either. They make the game too easy. Anyway, here's the question:
In Silence of the Lambs where was Hanibal Lector being held?
*this one's pretty easy, too*
Angrist

In the cage, untill there was only the skeleton left (the one of the beginning of the movie). Right? right?? :(
BlueFire

In the beginning, he was in a prison like area. They only way he could see through walls was through the class, etc.
Torwards the end he was in a cage with bars.
the answer to the werewolf music thing is Mouth by bush, anyways...yeah

Nope, he's wrong, BLueFire. During the movie's beginning credits, a slow version of 'Blue Moon' was played and during the end credits, a more upbeat one was played. The song that Zen just mentioned wasn't even played in the movie; Something I'm sure he's even aware of (If you can't post anything smart, don't post anything at all :) )
theres a movie about an american werewolf in somewhere that plays the one i said then....i think its american werewolf is paris...or something.
I got my movies mixed up, sue me biatch :P

or maybe i was wrong lol but how do u get these dblns or watever
Doctor Zhivago
09-24-2002, 05:38 PM
Yes, dblns are a sort of currency used here (I know it sounds idiotic at first, but it's actually a pretty neat idea). They can be used to get custom ranks, entry into the Black Project forum, etc. By the way, what do you mean by "The answer is Am American Werewolf in London"? I like didn't ask a question. Thanks for reviving this thread, though :)
