Well, first off, 9/11 really had no effect on me seeing as I have no family or anything, though I see how a plane hitting you at the job would hurt. So...I have compiled a few questions I thought about while I was "thinking" in biology class...there are questions that dont pertain to 9/11 also.

1) Do you feel that all the airport security has helped in keeping us safe?

1a) Do you think there is enough security in airports, and major events?

2) Do you think Bush and his Homeland security have done an effective job against terrorism?

2a) Do you feel Al Gore could have done a better job?

3) Do you think bush will be re-elected after his role in this event?

4) Do you blame the US for some of the tragedy, and think we could have avoided it more?

5) Do you think we should build a monument, or a new building? Both?

5a) If you choose a new building or both, should they re-construct the twin tower, or make equally tall towers?

6) Do you think there will be another attack or major threat within the year?

Not many questions, but biology isnt very long...now...where to stick the knife.

1) Do you feel that all the airport security has helped in keeping us safe? No

1a) Do you think there is enough security in airports, and major events? Yes

2) Do you think Bush and his Homeland security have done an effective job against terrorism? Eh

2a) Do you feel Al Gore could have done a better job? Gotta love the robot

3) Do you think bush will be re-elected after his role in this event? Eh

4) Do you blame the US for some of the tragedy, and think we could have avoided it more? Yes

5) Do you think we should build a monument, or a new building? Both? Well, it is a pretty big empty space then

5a) If you choose a new building or both, should they re-construct the twin tower, or make equally tall towers? They should plant two huge trees in that area and then set up a little thingy with wise words on it

6) Do you think there will be another attack or major threat within the year? I'm counting on it

Speaking of changing, the #9 train is finally coming back into service. Whoo ho! Yeah...

1) Yes. If you stand in line for the entire day, there's less of a chance that you will be killed in a plane crash that day.

1a) Enough? Yes. Good enough? No. Our airports are no safer today than they were a year ago. Longer lines doesn't mean better security.

2) As good as they can for now.

2a) Hell no.

3) Yes

4) Blame the US? No. American society wouldn't allow us to put out military efforts to stop terrorism, and increase security unless they actually feel it's necessary. Even though we knew about it, we wouldn't let our government do anything if they had tried.

5) New building to replace the old one. Momument? Not really. Don't see a need for it.

5a) Go new.

6) Undecided. Logically, I think it's too expected, they'll wait and hit us later when we all forget. But I don't know, they may go for it again to make a point.

They did shoot up those large beams of light for the 6 month aniversery there...doubt they'll make that permanent.

1a) There could always be more security

2) I havent seen too many results, although i dont watch the news too often

2a) IMO, yes

3) Hmmmm....well i'm not sure, a lot of people want Bush out already

4) Yes

5) Hmmm...sure, why not?

5a) A good looking monument would do

6) I wouldnt rule out the possibility

1) Do you feel that all the airport security has helped in keeping us safe? Not really. I mean you're not allowed to have any knives with you (even plastic ones), but a bottle of wine is no problem. I can do far worse thing with a broken bottle than with a plastic (or any) knife.

1a) Do you think there is enough security in airports, and major events? What else can they do??

2) Do you think Bush and his Homeland security have done an effective job against terrorism? Not effective. I mean they still don't have Bin Laden and bombing those Afganistan civilians wasn't very smart.

2a) Do you feel Al Gore could have done a better job? Don't know much about him, but anything's better than Bush.

3) Do you think bush will be re-elected after his role in this event? No chance on earth. If Europeans get to vote that is...

4) Do you blame the US for some of the tragedy, and think we could have avoided it more? Yep.

5) Do you think we should build a monument, or a new building? Both? Ehm two buildings with a monument on top of them...

5a) If you choose a new building or both, should they re-construct the twin tower, or make equally tall towers? Danny's tree idea is nice. We could all start living like Elves.

6) Do you think there will be another attack or major threat within the year? Of course, there always have been.

1) Yes, it's almost over secure... cept when you get into the air, then it calms down quite a bit.

1a) Nothing's perfect, but it has improved a lot.

2) *looks at all terrorist attacks between 9/11 and today* Good enough for me.

2a) Hell no. I voted for Gore, and I am now glad he didn't win. If he's anything like Clinton when it comes to corruption, I think things would be a lot worse right now.

3) Depends, if the Democrat's bring in a tough president I doubt Bush will win, If they bring some soft guy who has never served for the country *coughclintonlikecough* Bush will win.

4) US is a great country to live in, period. We get freedoms here that most other countrys can only dream of. I can't stay mad at anybody. Compared to the terror we are bringing to middle east countries, the Trade center bombing was nothing. I'm not saying that what happend was right, but Americans did need a wake-up call. Before 9-11 if we would have had a war, I don't think me or any of my friends would be willing to serve, now lots of people I know are ready to go out and serve for the country. Also, I hope everybody has a new respect for our way of life.

5) I think that there should just be a monument. If a tower were re-built, I would be scared to death to enter it of even walk by it due to memories of it falling.

5a) I say, if they must build on that area, to make a new bigger building... instead of bringing back these past memories.

6)Yes, but I doubt it will have to do with airplanes.. maybe an Ice Creame Truck, but not an Air Plane.

1) Do you feel that all the airport security has helped in keeping us safe?
For the past year there have been quite a few real tries to hijack planes not only in the US but all over the world but all of them were stoped before boarding or on the plane before anything serious hapenned. Now compare that with the years before where we had so many hostage situations because the hijaking was only dealt with after the plane landed somwhere.

1a) Do you think there is enough security in airports, and major events?
There is never enough security! But you can't stop people from getting together or flying because of security reasons otherwhise you won't get out of the house for security reasons and still be in danger.

2) Do you think Bush and his Homeland security have done an effective job against terrorism?
With the time, money and knowledge they have now yes. Again anything that we do, terrorists will addapt and we addapt in retaliation and soo on. There will never be a point in which we are completely stoping security threats from terrorism.

2a) Do you feel Al Gore could have done a better job?
There is no way to tell. Bush seamed that will be a pupet in front of the people in the begining. Now he shows he's in charge. Al Gore has never passed trough what Bush did, so you can't tell how that would affect him and his actions.

3) Do you think Bush will be re-elected after his role in this event?
Probably not. See his father wasn't realected because the economy was in recovery during his tearm. But the recovery was caused by Bush, yet Clinton took the credit since the economy fully recovered only then. Now Clinton started a downhill economy trough his policy, but Bush will take the fall since we feel the effects now, not when they were started.

4) Do you blame the US for some of the tragedy, and think we could have avoided it more?
No. America has plenty to be praise & blamed for. But no blame of it's own ever justifies such actions against it. Especially since what it is blamed for is the fact that it controlls the economy fluctuation of the world and other countries are suffering because of that. Yes it's true but this was not the solution.

5) Do you think we should build a monument, or a new building? Both?
I think that leaving it as is without anything there is much more representative of what hapened afterwards, how america was leveled in all it's differences and united in one goal.

5a) If you choose a new building or both, should they re-construct the twin tower, or make equally tall towers?
Again the humbleness in this is more powerfull than the ignorance of standing tall and be an open target.

6) Do you think there will be another attack or major threat within the year?
Most likely. It might not succede, and might not be on the American soil, but it will be an american target.

The guy who owns the land the WTC used to be one said he's going to put up a monument in that area. He hasn't said what yet. Seems like a nice guy though. Lost a few of his employees that day.

To leave it how is it just seems weird. It's one hell of a massive area left there. Might be nice to have an open area amongst all those buildings though. Maybe a grassy field with a monument of all the names of those lost that day. Just a thought.

1) Not at all, it's completly worthless and retarded. They're not going to try that again, increased security or not. They'll go a different route next time they try and strike.

1a)Airports, too much, Major events, about right, there's always drunken morons to beat over the skull at major advents and I'll be damned if im going to be administering the beatings.

2)Well, we haven't been attacked again so...yes but I dont really think that it has much of an effect

2a) lol

3)Most definatly, so long as he doesnt **** the iraq thing (and I'll be honest, I dont have the answer to iraq, but he better go the right route or he's most likely out)

4)Not really. Is there more we could have done, yes but I refuse to blame our government for this. We were attacked and nothing can ever be done to change that.

5)Both, Reconstruct

6)One will be attempted, if it goes off or not will be the true test of homeland security.
