7: From The Rugrats (the blonde girl who bosses the babies around)
23: From a Nickelodeon show with the same name (I think). He tried to save the city from a mad scientist, if I'm not mistaken.
45: From The Rocky & Bullwinkle show. They were the bad guys, the man and woman.
The others I don't know as well.

-Wile E. Coyote should be top 3.
-and although Homer probably should be number 1, Bugs Bunny is classic as well.
-Yogi Bear should be top 10 EASILY
-Winnie the Pooh and Donald Duck should be higher

Spongebob Squarepants is actually on the list, and to make it worse, that thing is 9th?
*shakes head and sighs*
*sees Garfield isn't on the list*
Tell me I did not, not see Garfield's name on the list.
*goes to TV Guide headquarters*
Ridley : "What the hell were you people thinking?"
TV Guide : "We just thoug....."
Ridley : "It doesn't matter what you thought!"
TV Guide : "Well we had to make room for Arthur."
Ridley : <in a mocking fashion> "Well we had to make room for Arthur. Know your role and shut your mouth!"
*locks the room and gives a Rock Bottom to all the staff who were responsible for making up the list*
But I guess most of the list is fine :sneaky:

Damn straight.
"A list of cartoon characters without Pinky and the Brain is not a list of cartoon characters." (old chinese proverb).
But Animaniacs made the terrible mmistake of having clever jokes which went way over the heads of it's target audience.
I am also very disappointed not to see Droopy, but at least Felix the Cat is there. He too goes well with LSD, or so I'm told.
Mind you, if I did a list of cartton characters who should be in that list, it'd be longer than that list itself.

I always thought Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner was so dumb. I mean you have this supposedly intelligent coyote spending all this money on inventions, which he uses to try and catch the Road Runner, when he could have just used the money to buy himself dinner.

Actually I do and I think you're trying to imply that cartoons aren't always supposed to make sense. Well that's true, but it was just the same damn thing every time with Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner. I mean did they ever even switch the setting from the desert to something different? Most shows that do the same basic thing in each episode at least switch things up a bit every now and then. I can't even remember one time when they even did that with the Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner ......

they thought up so many creative ways for Wile E Coyote to nearly kill himself with hilarious consequences :D
:burger:
I also like the cartoons with Bugs Bunny and Wile E. Coyote: Genius. Like the one where Wile creates a giant magnet and a magnetic carrot so that when Bugs ate the carrot he would fly right over to the magnet, but then Bugs just pretends to eat it and Wile E Coyote turns the magnet on and he convieniently stands in front of the magnet and all these metallic things come flying at him like a fridge and a 747...
CLASSIC

Oh, BTW, I just noticed Daria is on the list. :D :D :D
w00t, I loved that show! :D
......k.
Doctor Zhivago

In my opinion, about forty-five of those characters don't belong on the list. But I do find it admirable that this guy would actually make a list of his fifty favorite cartoon characters. Hell, I'm too lazy to dress myself in the morning. So, I applaud you, sir. *stands up and applauds*

CLASSIC
I remember when I was little I was always switch channels when a Wile E. Coyote cartoon came on. Either that or turn all comatose until it was over. Boring and repeatative. Liked the one where he actually talked explaining the delicious parts of the roadrunner. Gave him a whole new side of his personality.

With your powers combined, I am Captain Planet! That should be on the list.
BTW, all you Animaniacs fan know "faboo" right?
Pink & The Brain should definitely have been on there. So great it was. But then they had to go and ruin it making it Pinky, Elmira, and The Brain. *sigh*

I think they should make an episode where Wile E. Coyote kills the road runner sucessfully. I also think they should have an episode where Sylvester kills and consumes Tweety Bird successfully. I also think their should be an episode where Daffy Duck successfully catches Speedy Gonzalez.
FYI: Did you know Speedy Gonzalez has been banned from American television? Complaints were filed against the cartoon mouse because it harshly stereotyped Mexicans and their culture. Never again, will you see another episode featuring Speedy in the U.S.
The Germanator

Yeah, that's dumb that they banned Speedy, he's cool. Recently I heard that many Mexicans were angry because they did take him off the air...oh well, arriba arriba, andale andale.
