This Freeloader thing looks very useful. Just one question about it. If I buy an NTSC Cube, and get a Freeloader, then buy a PAL game to play, will I be able to play it on my PAL TV? Or do I still have to use my NTSC TV?

Oh, there's something else. It's off topic but, will controllers and memory cards bought from England or Germany work on an American Gamecube? Is there a regional lock for those?

I'm about 90% sure that they will work on the US 'Cube. I don't think there is a region lockout. I remember reading that if you have a jap. memory card and you put it into a US 'Cube, you just have to reformat it for US usage. But I'm pretty sure you can use any controllers/mem. cards.

If your NTSC TV supports PAL playback, then no problem.

They should work fine. I use my Ps2 mem card and can save NTSC/PAL to it no problem. I think they are universal!

My NTSC TV is multi-system, but I was wondering if it would work on my PAL only Turkish TV (which has Pro-Logic Surround - that's why I want to play on it).

Thanks for the info on controllers and memory cards Bobcat and Jonbo.

Uhh, Bobcat, I just found this (http://hh141.hiphip.com/templates/frmTemplateR.asp?CatalogID=4572&SearchYN=N&subFolderID=148). It says the Freeloader won't be released until September/early October. If Lik-Sang don't get it earlier, you'll be waiting for some time.
