Well, I was hinking Survivor Series is the next and final PPV of the Big Five (Or what are considered the most important PPVs of the year) then I watched the 3rd Annual Survivor Series from 1989.

Am I the only one who misses the traditional Survivor Series set-up?

I mean what ever happened to the days where the card was jammed pack with 4 on 4 matches or the wildcard matches like in 1995? Those were some of the best.

Anyhow, anyone else miss the traditional setup or do you prefer some of the more modern set ups?

They just aren't like they used to be. But that could be a good/bad thing. Some people don't like to have the same thing(s) year after year. A little (or alot:unsure: ) of change would help. But I would like a fatal 4 way or something like that. Just give me something to watch and I'm happy:D

You'll notice that the traditional set up dissappeared once the WWF started doing monthly PPV's and doing increased weekly programming. My guess is that it just takes too long to book several 5 man elimination matches and do it well. Elimination mayches require very careful booking because so much story is told in the ring. If its not done right, the match will come off very flat. I imagine they just don't have the time to book a PPV like that anymore. Its a shame really.

I want the WWE to go back to 4 PPV's a year (Sur Ser, RR, WM and Sum Slam). This will put more actiuon in the weekly TV shows and put more importance back into the PPV's.

My 2 cents
