... Had not for a change in marketing plans on Nintendo's side, we would be drooling over Spaceworld info right now?

In case I just spoiled anyone's day by bringing this up...

Mission Complete... err.. I mean, sorry for bringing this up!

:sneaky:

Seriously though, if Nintendo had stuck with Spaceworld this year, I think it would have automatically pressure them to realease some all new surprises, and new details on games we know are in the making(Mario Kart anyone?). Just thinking of footage/screens of next year's games makes me giddy, but I suppose if I say much more, we'd have to put this on the GC-board, so I'm out!

Have you guys also realized that the scores for the E3 prediction contest were never calculated or if they were, they were never released? Just a thought...

:D

Good point xantar

Anyway, Nintendo better make a big band at TGS.

What ever are you guys talking about?...

:sneaky:

uhh, stuff...happened...

Gee, thanks alot Xantar! :D

Edit: By the way, I didn't know Nintendo were showing stuff at TGS.. or I probably forgot

That's a good call though, especially with the quality games that they'll release this year. Nintendo usually shun TGS, I'm anxious to see the results of that show, because I want to see how different it'll be this time around. Specifcally, if Nintendo will clean house. ;)

Next time please don't hype an event that you never plan on finishing. It's really not very funny to all the people that participated.

Give the guy a break man. Do you know how long it takes to calculate everyones scores, not to mention all the dblns won or lost in betting. It took a very long time last time too. Add that to the fact that he's very busy, which he explained around a month ago in one of his posts, he's also having some problems.

Knowing dreal, he'll get it done, what's the big rush? No ones going to die are they?

Well, he's had time to make several posts and he has had time to post about the subject. Maybe it would be nice if you could tell us how far along you are on the project D-realJos. I have patience to wait a long time, but maybe saying you are working on them would be nice, rather than avoiding the subject.

What happened to the gaming company contest that BigJustin was coordinating?

And the XXX games in Black Project?

What's with the mysterious dissappearances of contests with potential?

What does the staff know that we don't? :sneaky:

The truth is out there...and it will exploited...

This one I explained before in the Black Project Forum. geist just doesn't follow through on his ideas. He's never actually produced on any of the ideas he comes up with, and that's why way back when the XXX game was announced, I refused to endorse it in any way. I knew it wasn't going to happen. I have the feeling that my fellow moderators at the time thought the same way because nobody offered to help him. Contrast this with the Survivor contest where getting a volunteer to help in the "Guess the mystery mod" contest was a snap (at least it was the second time around). Only etiquette prevented me from all out declaring that the XXX game was doomed to dismal failure.

And then geist left and the rest is history.

XXX most likely was never real, and just a ploy to get you to sign up. Hence the title, "XXX".

Damn, I didn't know you guys were so touchy about the contest thingy. I mean yeah, you took the time to participate, but like Shadow_link said, I'll have my work cut out for me as well. Not sure, but some seem to think it's a mere handful of work. That couldn't be further from the truth.

In any event, the reason I've been unable to update you guys is because lots of stuff came up since. I already told you guys in a post about SOME of the problems I had. I eventually put some of those problems aside(and solved a few), and I was finally to get something done, posting the third update to my "Developer Trio" thread. Doesn't that count for something? I bet half of you didn't even read it...

Since then, I've been away from home for more than 3 weeks(job related). During that time, my ISP deactivated my account. I only got it sorted out last week monday, and made about 4 or 5 posts since that time. These days, it's very hard to gain enough time to write a topic, let alone update those contest results. The difference is, with a topic, I can piece it together bit by bit until it's done and refined. With this contest thing, the thought of putting *TINY* bit and pieces together until it's finished is a scary picture.. it'd take forever.

Hope that helps. (I'll redeem myself one of these day...I know I owe you one)
